Abstract: A peacock died from suspecting Newcastle Disease.In order to diagnose the disease,the heart,spleen and lung of the peacock were homogenized to inoculate 9-11 days chicken embryos for isolating virus.Through HA and HI test,the isolated virus was identified Newcastle disease virus.So the peacock was diagnosed to die from Newcastle disease.

Abstract: To provide the data and the theory basis for water birds research continually,water birds were studied using type method and type long-base method from July 2005 to Department 2006.Altogether,there were 89 species belonging to water birds and season dynamic pattern had been carried on.Water bird species and quantity of a year was more in winter and less in summer.Particularly,there was significant quantity fluctuation that peak was in winter and low in summer.

Abstract: In order to investigate the effect of improving local fox by crossing with Finland protospecies Alopex lagopus,the main genetic determinant phenotypes(body type,body status and velvet quality) of Finland protospecies Alopex lagopus,improved Dayu Alopex lagopus(F4-F5) and local fox were detected.By analyzing the results,the improvement effect of local fox by crossing with Finland protospecies Alopex lagopus was evaluated.

Abstract: In order to investigate quality difference of antler discus of northeast sika deer,10 antlers were selected to cut dry,powder,yam and bone discuses.The total sugar and water-solubility protein in the types of antler discus was analyzed.The results indicated that the contents of water-solubility and total sugar in the above types of discus were 4.97%,3.95%,2.55%,1.59% and 3.21%,2.21%,1.04%,0.49% respectively.There was significant different among the types of discus in the contents of water-solubility protein and total sugar.

Abstract: Gekko gecko from Laos,Guangxi and Yunnan province of China were used for karyotype analysis by air drying method.The results indicated that the karyotype formula of the red Gekko gecko from Laos is 2n=38=8m+2sm+2st+26t,the karyotype formula of the black Gekko gecko from Guangxi and Yunnan province is the same as 2n=38=8m+2sm+28t.Therefore,there are evident differences between the karyotype formula of the red Gekko gecko and black Gekko gecko on the No.15 chromosome.And the results provide effective evidence of cell biology for classifying the subspecies and species of Gekko gecko.

Abstract: The digestibility of Elaphurus davidianus for Medicago Sativa was determinated by collection of total feces.The results indicated digestibility of dry material,rough protein,rough fat,rough ash,content of non-nitrogen matter,rough fiber were(63.37±9.42)%,(63.77±8.90)%,(37.33±12.44)%,(26.32±11.61)%,(75.89±6.02)%,(26.05±1.73)% respectively.

Abstract: In order to search for a kind of fine probiotic,a strain of lactobacillus was successfully selected from tragopan coboties after isolating cultivation,first and second selection experiments.And then its physical and chemical character and safety were studied.The pilot study drew a conclusion that the lactobacillus could be adaptive to the conditions of stomach and intestine and was safe and innoxious to animals.

Abstract: HI test was used to monitor antibody titer of minks inoculated inactivated vaccine against mink enteritis parvovirus,the results showed protective antibody was obtained after 14 days of inoculation and antibody titer reached height after 21-30 days and still above protective titer after 180 days.The result of challenging test showed 90% of inoculated mink could be protected against the disease after inoculation of 180 days.We concluded that the immune period of mink enteritis parvovirus inactivated vaccine for mink was 6 months.

Abstract: The semen were collected from 5 Xinjiang Tianshan male wapiti and conserved.140 Xinjiang Tianshan female wapiti were treated with CIDR+PMSG+PG and artificially inseminated after induced synchronization of estrus.The results of the experiment showed: the motility of the semen reached up to 0.6 after 72 h,the rate synchronization estrus reached to 85%,and the lambing rate was up to 50%.

Abstract: Pseudosciaena crocea(Richardson) is the leading species in China′s sea water aquiculture at present.This paper studied the oxygen consumption rate of Pseudosciaena crocea fry,and the correlations between the oxygen consumption rate,dissolved oxygen and temperature.The results showed that the ability of low oxygen endurance of Pseudosciaena crocea fry was much feeble than that of the other fishes.The coma and suffocation points of Pseudosciaena crocea fry increased with the rise of water temperature,they were 2.833 μg/(g·min) and 1.42 mg/L respectively in 14 ℃,but 4.677 μg/(g·min) and 2.27 mg/L in 25 ℃.The oxygen consumption rate of Pseudosciaena crocea fry showed a special phenomena between Anoxic point and coma point.The oxygen consumption rate of Pseudosciaena crocea fry took on jumping increase.This special phenomena was not indicated before The V appreciably increased with the prolong met of time and decrease of DO.Its breath relegates to contrary style.
