Abstract: The effects of candidate gene Dopamine Receptor D2 (DRD2) gene on self-biting of mink were studied in the paper.Partial sequence of Dopamine Receptor D2 genes were extracted from feet of American mink,and amplified using polymerase chain reaction(PCR) method,and then cloned and sequenced.The sequence had been sent to Gen Bank with Accession Number of EU085471.Comparison the fragment sequence of different individuals,the base mutation was not found in the forth extron and found(T41C)in the fifth extron,but not found polymorphism by PCR-SSCP.

Abstract: In order to understand the biological characteristics and obtain domestic techniques of the boar bred in the Yunnan province tropical rain forest areas,the boars were discussed to be bred on the scale of the development and utilize.Through field investigation,2-4 months old and 5-8 kg body weight 16 boars were collected and had been domesticated for 2 yeas with same body weight pigs.And some biological characteristics of domesticated boars were sum up to management model for the boars to be domesticated,developed and utilized.The results showed that the boars in the Xishuangbanna tropical rain forest areas had strong adaptability and were willing to assembly.And they changed their disposition and food habit,oestrused through whole year,raised their reproductive ability and growth rate after domesticated.On the base of supplying with protective measure and outdoor sports ground and in reference of breeding methods of pigs,pure breed boar were bred domestically and pure breed male boars could be used to crossed with domestic pigs to develop pollution-free high-quality hybrid pigs.

Abstract: The genetic polymorphism of seven microsatellite loci of Xinjiang Tarim red deer was detected by polymerase chain reaction(PCR),12% nondenaturation polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and Sanguinetti silver staining method. Numbers of alleles,average effective numbers of alleles(E) and average rate of homozygote of three subspecies populations were counted.According to allelic frequencies of seven microsatellite loci polymorphism information content(PIC),mean heterozygosity(h) and genetic distance among the populations were calculated for each population.The dendrograms was obtained based on genetic distance by Neighbor-join method(NJ),utilizing Molecular Evolutionary Genetics Analysis soft(MEGA).At the same time,the phylogenetic tree was constructed based on allelic frequencies by Maximum likelihood(ML),the bootstrap value was estimated by bootstrap test in the tree,lastly,phylogenetic relationships was analyzed.The relations between genetic markers and production capacity of antler was analyzed.The results suggests that four of seven microsatellite loci are high polymorphic,but BMS2508 and Celjp0023 have no polymorphism and BM5004 is neutral polymorphism.It is the conclusions that the four microsatellite loci are effective DNA markers for analysis of genetic diversity and phylogenetic relationship among three Tarim red deer populations.The mean PIC,h and E of the whole microsatellite loci is 0.519 6,0.555 2 and 2.45,which shows that these microsatellite loci are effective DNA markers for the genetic analysis of red deer.The phylogenetic relationship among different red deer populations is consistent with history of breeding and distribution of geography.The genetic distance and consanguinity between REGIMENT 35 population and XAYA population is closer than that between REGIMENT 35 and ALAER population.The phylogenetic relationship among different red deer populations is consistent with history of breeding and distribution of geography.The genotypes of 166bp/185bp in BM4208 locus and 208bp/208bp in BM888 locus are useful markers for production capacity of antler in REGIMENT 35 population.

Abstract: According to the published VP2 gene of mink enteritis virus, we designed four specific primers named M1,M2,M3 and M4 and set up a nested PCR assay to detect mink enteritis virus.Sensitive assay showed that the nested PCR could detect 5.0 TCID50 and 0.05 TCID50 for MEVB strain by the first and second amplifications respectively.Meanwhile,the first amplification PCR products digested by restriction enzyme could be used to distinguish canine parvovirus and mink enteritis virus,so method has significant useful value and application prospect.

Abstract: From May to August,2006,by using focal-animal sampling and behaviour sampling method,the maternal behaviour of parturition sika deer(Cervus nippon)in the different feeding conditions was studied.We analyzed the difference of maternal behaviour at the different day of age and conditions in order to offer some advices for the sika deer feeding,breeding and management.The results showed that with the day of age increased,the sika deer maternal behaviour time budget decreased in five type behaviours in this study.The maternal behaviour at the period of 1-7 days had significant difference with the two other periods.At the 35 day of age,the sika deer maternal was scarce or did not occurrence.The behaviour of sucking,searching and looking,interrupt or refuse sucking showed no significant difference in two conditions,but behaviour of following,licking and grooming had significant difference.The results indicated that at 1-7 day age of young sika deer was the important period for the mother′s maternal behaviour time budget,the sika deer maternal behaviour in the semi-free feeding was better than captive condition.
