TL;DR: In this article, the authors bring together the results of these various experimenters and, by the method of least squares, determine how the coefficient of correlation varies with the interval between test and retest.
Abstract: There are reported, in the psychological literature, a number of experiments in which a group of individuals, generally children, were tested with the Binet intelligence test and then retested after an interval. Commonly, coefficients of correlation have been computed between the IQ’s on test and retest. These correlations vary widely, as do also the intervals between test and retest. The purpose of this paper is to bring together the results of these various experimenters and, by the method of least squares, determine how the coefficient of correlation varies with the interval between test and retest.
