Abstract: Protein-protein interaction(PPI) plays an important role in many biological processes.The PPI depends on space structures of proteins.As a basic element of protein structure,secondary structures should contain information of PPIs.A new approach was introduced to predict the interaction of proteins solely by analyzing their secondary structures,and the predicting model was built based on Bayesian classifier.The model achieved a significant performance with prediction accuracy of 59.16% and 59.85% in open test for S.cerevisiae,human and in independent set test for mouse and D.melanogaster,respectively.The result shows that the relationship between secondary structures of proteins and Bayesian classifier can be used to predict protein-protein interaction.

Abstract: Sintering is an important part in the enterprise of steel-making.A large amounts of fuel gas will be produced in the process of sintering.It is estimated about 4 000~6 000 m3 amounts of fuel gas with the dust of 0.5~15 g/m3 and corrosive gas such as SOx,NOx will be produced in the producing process of one ton of sinter.The corrosive gas of SOx,NOx will be converted into thin sour after mixing with water,which will cause atmosphere pollution and metal corrosion.It is an urgent task for each enterprise of steel-making to deal with sintering fuel gas synthetically by studying fully the characteristics of sintering fuel gas because of more strict environmental policies.Some advices were put forward about the synthetical technologies of dealing with sintering fuel gas,providing references for the steel-making enterprises.

Abstract: Medical image registration technology is the foundation of the medical image fusion and it is also the element of the image-based three-dimensional reconstruction.A medical image registration method was presented based on the feature points calculated by SUSAN operator.First,the corner points of two images were extracted with the SUSAN operator;then,the two feature points sets were matched and the matched feature point pairs were obtained through coarse matching and fine matching;Finally,the reverse mapping of the affine transformation were utilized to achieve image registration.The experimental results show that the medical image registration and good accuracy can be effectively achieved by using this method.
