Toxicity Comparison on a few Acaricides to Three Species Spider Mites

Abstract: Author done the toxicity test on Tetranychus urticae Koch, T.cinnabarinus (Boisduval), T.viennensis Zacher with dicofol, fenpropathin, NC-129 and fenproximate in 1996, Compared the toxicity difference among three species spider mites on the LC 50 and LC 95 Standard. The result shown: the toxicity of T.urticae was the highest, T.cinnabarinus was the second, the T.viennensis was the lowest.

Analysis Atrazine Residues in Water Using Radioimmunoassay

Abstract: The determination of atrazine residue in water with radioimmunoassay method was studied. The High bioactive antigen was synthesized and the high titer anti-atrazine antibody was prepared. The antiserum was specific for atrazine,the cross-reactivity of the antiserum to propazine and simazine was 93% and 8%,respectively. The RIA for atrazine labeled by 3H was established and showed that the rate of recovery by adding atrazine in drink water and yunhe water were 88.5%-107.5% and 87.4%-110.9%respectively.

A Study on the Plant Height Component Indexes of Wheat

Abstract: The plant height component Indexes were the proportions of peduncle length to the total length of peduncle and the second internode, and any other internode length to the total length of itself and its adjacent lower internode of the same plant. There were highly significant genetic differences among different varieties. The plant height component Indexes can be improved by artificial selection. There were positive correlations between the plant height component indexes and the harvest index, the spike grains/straw per stem ratio and grain yield. The correlation between the I 1 value and grain yield was highly significant, so the I 1 value can be regarded as an important criterion of selection in high-yield wheat breeding.

Studies on Raising Productivity of Turtle By Feed additive of Chinese Traditional Herbal Medicine

Abstract: Feed additive of Chinese traditional herbal medicine was thought as an excellent feed additive,which can benefit the spleen and supplement qi,promot digestion,and gain weight. In this study, traditional Chinese medical science principle was used to diagnose and analyse the physiology of turtle, Chinese traditional herbal medicine was selected and used in feed additive. The result showed that Chinese traditional herbal medicine plays an effective action on the growth performance, prevention and treatment for common disease of turtle. The immunity for turtle of Chinese traditional herbal medicine was also confirmed.
