Abstract: Somatic cells were prepared from sea snail enzyme digests of Porphyra yezoensis thalli Using SDS-Proteinase K as extraction solution, total DNA was isolated from the somatic cells The crude extracts of total DNA were purified with Wizard DNA clean-up resin, and the resulting DNA was of sufficient quality for digestion of restriction endonuclease DNA bands were clearly observed in the restriction patterns of EcoRI, PstI respectively The presence of DNA bands in the restriction pattern of total DNA indicated that the genome of Porphyra yezoensis may be small Unexpectedly, using guanidinium isothiocyanate and sarcosyl as extraction solution, a plasmid-like DNA band (23 Kb) was directly found in the isolated total DNA of Porphyra yezoensis A very simple and convenient method for isolation of plasmid-like DNA has been established

Abstract: The research was carried out on the effects of the spike position height coefficient of maize hybirds on yield characteristics, based on 2 years regional test materials of summer maize in North China,by using the correlation analysis of characteristics. The results showed that the spike position height coefficient has positive relevance with spike length, grains per row,1000 grains weight and yield and negative relevance with rows per spike and spike diameter. So this coefficient can be regarded as criterion of selection in high-yield-breeding.

Abstract: In this paper, Fuzzy mathematics was used in evaluating the food sense quality. Take cake as example, the method of how to make fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of food sense quality was demonstrated. By this way, the estimation becomes more scientific, reasonable and objective.
