TL;DR: The overall purpose of this study is to examine the potential use of IPAs that use advanced cognitive computing technologies and Natural Language Processing (NLP) for learning.
Abstract: In a technology dominated world, useful and timely information can be accessed quickly via Intelligent Personal Assistants (IPAs). By the use of these assistants built into mobile operating systems, daily electronic tasks of a user can be accomplished 24/7. Such tasks like taking dictation, getting turn-by-turn directions, vocalizing email messages, reminding daily appointments, setting reminders, responding any factual questions and invoking apps can be completed by IPAs such as Apple’s Siri , Google Now and Microsoft Cortana. The mentioned assistants programmed within Artificial Intelligence (AI) do create an interaction between human and computer through a natural language used in digital communication. In this regard, the overall purpose of this study is to examine the potential use of IPAs that use advanced cognitive computing technologies and Natural Language Processing (NLP) for learning. To achieve this purpose, the working system of IPAs is reviewed briefly within the scope of AI that has recently become smarter to predict, comprehend and carry out multi-step and complex requests of users.

TL;DR: In this article, the impact of Islamic work ethic on human resource of organization including the prospective of work conflict, job satisfaction, job turn over, turnover intentions and organizational commitment was explored.
Abstract: Islamic principles completely cover all prospects of life including working in organization. The impact of management style used in an organization play an important role in employee commitment towards its work. This paper is an effort to explore impact of Islamic work ethic on human resource of organization including the prospective of work conflict, job satisfaction, job turn over, turnover intentions and organizational commitment. Data for current study was collected personally through questionnaires from 18 branches of seven banks of Pakistan who practices Islamic banking. In total, 150 Muslims employees were targeted as respondent of current study, while response rate was above 85%. Results show that there is significant impact of Islamic work ethics on organizational commitment, job satisfaction and rewards while Islamic work ethic has no significant relation with intention to quit job. Out of seven, only three hypotheses were fully supported, while two were partially supported, however number of rejected hypothesis were two. Islamic work ethics are source to built greater morale in employees resulting greater job satisfaction. Adopting Islamic work ethics improves organizational commitment, source of motivation as well as reduces the negative intentions of quitting job.

TL;DR: Yildirim et al. as mentioned in this paper analyzed the prevalence of nomophobia among high school students regarding various factors such as grade, parents' education levels, and the duration of smartphone usage.
Abstract: Although the developments in technology have made our lives and daily activities easier, it is believed that problematic and excessive use of technology could have some negative effects on people. One of these negative effects is the prevalence of nomophobia, which is considered as a new phobia in recent years. Nomophobia is defined as the fear and anxiety when an individual cannot access his or her mobile/smart phone or cannot have the chance to communicate online and offline via mobile devices. Nomophobic tendencies can change individuals’ daily habits. Negative emotions due to nomophobic tendencies like fear and anxiety especially in young people is thought to affect their school lives and academic achievements. The purpose of this research is to analyze the prevalence of nomophobia among high school students regarding various factors. The Nomophobia Scale (NMP-Q), which was used in this study, was developed by Yildirim and Correia (2015), and adapted into Turkish by Yildirim, Sumuer, Adnan and Yildirim (2015). The study group consists of 475 high school students attending six different schools situated in diverse socio-economic areas in Izmir and Edirne in 2015-2016 education year. The study was conducted in survey model and descriptive statistics. T-test for independent samples and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) techniques were used at the analysis stage. According to the findings, mean scores obtained from the scale demonstrated that the levels of nomophobic behaviors of high school students were above the average. Besides, female students have higher nomophobia levels compared to male students in terms of gender variable and a significant difference was found in terms of the duration of mobile internet usage. A significant difference could not be found in terms of the variables such as grade, parents’ education levels, and the duration of smartphone usage. Furthermore, the study has revealed that high school students use their smartphones and mobile internet largely for social networks, music, communication, photographs, education, research, games and videos.

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of blended learning on the middle school students' academic achievement level and product evaluation scores were investigated in a study with a total of 53 students enrolled in the experimental group and control group in the 6th grade classrooms during the 2014/2015 school year in a middle school in southwest part of Turkey.
Abstract: In this study, the effects of blended learning on the middle school students’ academic achievement level and product evaluation scores were investigated. Blended learning provides more effective learning outcome gains through enriching todays’ developing Web Technologies with learning environments. This study was carried out with a total of 53 students enrolled in the experimental group and control group in the 6 th grade classrooms during the 2014/2015 school year in a middle school in southwest part of Turkey. The intervention lasted 7 weeks. During the seven weeks, the unit of “problem solving, computer programming and development of Software product”, covered in Educational technologies and Software course, is taught through blended learning environment. The experimental group was taught using blended learning environment which supported with enriched web technologies (such as video-conference, Learning Management System, Discussion blogs , etc.). Whereas the experimental group was given access to all these enriched contents that are presented to the control group only during the classroom environment through present teaching methods. The design of the study includes quantitative method. We collected quantitative data such as academic achievement test and product evaluation scale. Academic achievement test and product evaluation scale were used as quantitative data collection sources. Quantitative data was collected through the evaluation of students’ projects that they developed during the process of the study and the academic achievement tests. During the data analysis phase, independent t-test, frequency and ANOVA tests were used. As a result of this study, it is concluded that blended learning environment had generated a significant difference in students’ academic achievement on behalf of experimental group. Implications of the study for the educational environments were discussed.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors extended the concept of interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy soft relation to the case of interval-valued neutrosophic soft relation (IVNSS relation for short), which can be discussed as a generalization of soft relations.
Abstract: – Mukherjee [34] introduced the concept of interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy soft relation. In this paper we will extend this concept to the case of interval valued neutrosophic soft relation (IVNSS relation for short) which can be discussed as a generalization of soft relations, fuzzy soft relation, intuitionistic fuzzy soft relation, interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy soft relations and neutrosophic soft relations. Basic operations are presented and the various properties like reflexivity, symmetry, transitivity of IVNSS relations are also studied
