TL;DR: It is the responsibility and keen interests of all stakeholders, from governments to parents, to ensure that the physical and mental impacts of the COVID-19 epidemic on children and adolescents are kept minimal.
Abstract: More than 220 million Chinese children and adolescents are confined to their homes because of the corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak Thanks to the strong administrative system in China, the emergency home schooling plan has been rigorously implemented Although these measures and efforts are highly commendable and necessary, there are reasons to be concerned because prolonged school closure and home confinement during a disease outbreak might have negative effects on children's physical and mental health It is the responsibility and keen interests of all stakeholders, from governments to parents, to ensure that the physical and mental impacts of the COVID-19 epidemic on children and adolescents are kept minimal Copyright © 2020, Editorial Department of Journal of Shanghai Second Medical University All right reserved

TL;DR: Based on thorough theoretic analysis on the problem of evidential combination, a new combination rule was proposed by distributing local conflict to local focal elements and conjunctively operating on the coincident basic belief assignments.
Abstract: Based on thorough theoretic analysis on the problem of evidential combination,a new combination rule was proposed by distributing local conflict to local focal elements and conjunctively operating on the coincident basic belief assignments. The reliability of evidence, computed by a new generic model,is used to correct the belief functions.Compared with the existing combination rules, the newly proposed rule is applied to both cases of conflicting and coincidence. And the numerical simulation shows that the rule can accelerate convergence and reduce the decision risk.

TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of reliable H ∞ control for affine systems was addressed by introducing a new faulty actuator model, and two reliable controllers were proposed for two cases: 1) there is only one faulty actuators in the set of all actuators and 2) there are certain faulty actuulators in a pre specified subset of all the actuators, and the conditions for the existence of the reliable controllers are presented based on Hamilton Jacobi inequality.
Abstract: The problem of reliable H ∞ control for affine systems was addressed. First, normal state, partial failure and outage of actuator are simultaneously considered by introducing a new faulty actuator model. Then, two reliable H ∞ controller are proposed for two cases: one is that there is only one faulty actuator in the set of all actuators and the other is that there are certain faulty actuators in a pre specified subset of all actuators. The conditions for the existence of the reliable H ∞ controllers were presented based on Hamilton Jacobi inequality. The analysis shows that the resulting closed loop control systems is asymptotically stable and has certain disturbance attenuation ability.

TL;DR: In this paper, a modified combination rule was presented, where a global conflict is calculated by the weighted average of the local conflict, and a validity coefficient is defined to show the effect of the conflict evidence on the combination results.
Abstract: Evidence theory is widely used in data fusion systems. However, there exist some problems in its combination rule. A modified combination rule was presented. First, a global conflict is calculated by the weighted average of the local conflict. Then, a validity coefficient is defined to show the effect of the conflict evidence on the combination results. Compared with other combination rules, the proposed rule considers not only the consistency of evidence, but also the conflict of them. The numerical example shows that the new combination rule improves the reliability and rationality of the combination results.

TL;DR: In this paper, three equivalent methods based on sandwich plate theory, honeycomb plate and equivalent plate theory were derived and analyzed by numerical comparisons, and the results show that all of the three equivalent method discussed in this paper are reliable and practical in the finite element analysis of satellite structures.
Abstract: The honeycomb sandwich panels have been widely used in the satellite structures, and the equivalent elastic constants for the sandwich panels directly influence the accuracy of computational results. Three equivalent methods based on sandwich plate theory, honeycomb plate and equivalent plate theory were derived and analyzed by numerical comparisons. Only the core is equivalent when using the sandwith plate theory while the whole honeycomb sandwich panel is equivalent when using the honeycomb plate and equivalent plate theory. By using the above three equivalent methods the natural frequencies of a honeycomb sandwich panel including two load cases were calculated. The computational results show that all of the three equivalent methods discussed in this paper are reliable and practical in the finite element analysis of satellite structures.
