TL;DR: The authors examines the dilemma facing European security in the context of the great power game, the root causes behind the Ukraine crisis, its far-reaching consequences for geopolitics and global patterns and the implications for regional peace in other parts of the world.
Abstract: Located at the geopolitical centre of Eurasia, Ukraine has been an important arena for great power game for nearly three decades since the collapse of the Soviet Union. The West, principally the United States and Europe, and the Russian Federation have therefore been heavily involved in Ukraine's internal and external development. Their ideological, economic, and geopolitical interests clashed in a fierce battle that led to multiple political regime changes in Ukraine, and ultimately plunged Europe into an intractable security situation. This paper takes the rivalry between the US, Europe and Russia in Ukraine as a starting point to examine the dilemma facing European security in the context of the great power game, the root causes behind the Ukraine crisis, its far-reaching consequences for geopolitics and global patterns and the implications for regional peace in other parts of the world.

TL;DR: In this paper , the role of Type A personality TAP, age, and gender differences in social anhedonia (SA) was investigated in a study with non-patient academics at the University of Baghdad.
Abstract: The study aimed to determine the role of Type A personality TAP, age, and gender differences in social anhedonia (SA). Participants: University of Baghdad non-patient academics (Number = 400) (females = 250, Males = 150) at ages 25-60, with a mid-range of 42.5 years old. Measures: The Revised Social Anhedonia Scale (40 items) and Howard Glazer Questionnaire (20 items) were applied. Data Analysis: The validity and reliability have been examined. When applying the Pearson Correlation, r between SA and TAP was 0.347. Type A1 personality ( the highest score on TAP scale ) had the highest score in SA. Results: There is a weak positive correlation between Type A personality and SA. Age can affect SA; older individuals tend to be more anhedonic. Females had higher scores on SA than males. Discussion: the relationship between SA and TAP required several studies of larger samples in different environments to determine the nature of this relationship and to ensure the positive correlation between them.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors examined Nigeria's compliance with the Yaounde Code of Conduct and its execution in eradicating piracy and armed piracy instances that happened in the Gulf of Guinea from 2016 to 2021.
Abstract: Through adherence to the Yaoundé Code of Conduct and its execution in eradicating piracy and armed piracy instances that happened in the Gulf of Guinea from 2016 to 2021, this study evaluates Nigeria's history, progress, and response to piracy. The goal of this study is to examine Nigeria's compliance with the Yaoundé Code of Conduct as shown in its papers and historical development in accordance with the documentation from the literature review. The data was processed using qualitative approaches, namely research on descriptive research, which focuses on employing analysis to provide an overview or description of a scenario. The information received is analyzed utilizing non-reactive research methods after being gleaned from pertinent literature investigations. This approach will process information from reliable sources, including primary and secondary data, which will then be examined in accordance with predetermined theories and concepts to provide a response to the problem formulation. According to the study's findings, from 2016 to 2021, Nigeria adhered to the Yaounde Code of Conduct in situations of piracy and armed piracy. Nigeria is actively creating and putting into effect a national maritime security strategy to safeguard its marine affairs from all kinds of illegal activity. In compliance with the Yaounde Code of Conduct, Nigeria enacted the POMO ACT which made Nigeria the first country with an anti-piracy law and cooperated in the protection of vessels in accordance with the articles contained in the Yaounde Code of Conduct. However, Nigeria's strict emphasis on adhering to the Yaounde Code of Conduct hasn't worked to stop piracy because it doesn't deal with the underlying issues.

Sadfishing has become a trend where this trend occurs because artists, actors or even ordinary characters share unimportant sadness to get the attention of many people so that they will feel satisfied and are encouraged to continue to sell their sad stories to bring fame. This study uses the basic concept of sadfishing and Dramatism Theory. The approach in this research is qualitative with case study research method. The data collection technique was carried out by in-depth interviews. The data analysis technique uses a method that is carried out in three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions or verification as a technique for compiling research.
