TL;DR: The results suggest that bullying that occurs either at or outside school can have an impact on school learning.
Abstract: Many children are likely to experience aggression in their relationships with schoolmates. With the advent of modern forms of communication, children are now able to harass their peers with mobile phones and e-mails, a behaviour known as cyberbullying. To determine the relationship between school bullying and cyberbullying, 432 students from grades 7–9 in Canadian schools were surveyed about their experiences of bullying. The results indicated that students who were bullied in cyberspace were also likely to bully their peers in cyberspace (r = 0.46, p < 0.001) and be bullied at school (56%). In addition, students who were bullied in cyberspace only, and students bullied both in cyberspace and at school, experienced difficulties at school such as low marks, poor concentration, and absenteeism. These results suggest that bullying that occurs either at or outside school can have an impact on school learning.

TL;DR: The recommendation joining user clustering and item clustering collaborative filtering is more scalable and more accurate than the traditional one.
Abstract: Personalized recommendation systems can help people to find interesting things and they are widely used with the development of electronic commerce. Many recommendation systems employ the collaborative filtering technology, which has been proved to be one of the most successful techniques in recommender systems in recent years. With the gradual increase of customers and products in electronic commerce systems, the time consuming nearest neighbor collaborative filtering search of the target customer in the total customer space resulted in the failure of ensuring the real time requirement of recommender system. At the same time, it suffers from its poor quality when the number of the records in the user database increases. Sparsity of source data set is the major reason causing the poor quality. To solve the problems of scalability and sparsity in the collaborative filtering, this paper proposed a personalized recommendation approach joins the user clustering technology and item clustering technology. Users are clustered based on users’ ratings on items, and each users cluster has a cluster center. Based on the similarity between target user and cluster centers, the nearest neighbors of target user can be found and smooth the prediction where necessary. Then, the proposed approach utilizes the item clustering collaborative filtering to produce the recommendations. The recommendation joining user clustering and item clustering collaborative filtering is more scalable and more accurate than the traditional one.

TL;DR: This paper associates a price with a time transition, and gives the semantics for price time Petri net in terms of priced timed transition systems, and defines a priced state class as an extension of state class, and discusses the soundness and completeness for this extension.
Abstract: Performance and cost analysis are the two main purposes of business process modeling, where the Petri net extended with time information is an effective tool for performance analysis, but not for cost analysis. This paper proposes a time Petri net extended with price information—Price Time Petri Net. Firstly, this paper associates a price with a time transition, and gives the semantics for price time Petri net in terms of priced timed transition systems. Then it defines a priced state class as an extension of state class, and discusses the soundness and completeness for this extension. An algorithm is given to prove that the minimum-cost reachability problem for bounded price time Petri net is decidable. Finally, this paper gives an example and draws a conclusion that incorporating price information in time Petri net and applying price time Petri net to business process management

TL;DR: The topology control problem and the design objectives are clearly presented, and an introduction is made to representative research efforts, along with analyses and comparisons, in two aspects, power control and sleep scheduling, respectively.
Abstract: Topology control is one of the most fundamental problems in wireless sensor networks. It is of great importance for prolonging network lifetime, reducing radio interference, increasing the efficiency of MAC (media access control) protocols and routing protocols, among other things. This paper makes a full-scale introduction to the advancement of research on topology control. Firstly, the topology control problem and the design objectives are clearly presented. Secondly, an introduction is made to representative research efforts, along with analyses and comparisons, in two aspects, power control and sleep scheduling, respectively. At the same time, the defects of those efforts are clearly pointed out. Finally, existing problems, open issues and research trends are analyzed and

TL;DR: Readers will capture the current status of cloud computing as well as its future trends from this paper, including the systems and current research.
Abstract: This paper surveys the current technologies adopted in cloud computing as well as the systems in enterprisesCloud computing can be viewed from two different aspectsOne is about the cloud infrastructure which is the building block for the up layer cloud applicationThe other is of course the cloud applicationThis paper focuses on the cloud infrastructure including the systems and current researchSome attractive cloud applications are also discussedCloud computing infrastructure has three distinct characteristicsFirst, the infrastructure is built on top of large scale clusters which contain a large number of cheap PC serversSecond, the applications are co-designed with the fundamental infrastructure that the computing resources can be maximally utilizedThird, the reliability of the whole system is achieved by software building on top of redundant hardware instead of mere hardwareAll these technologies are for the two important goals for distributed system:high scalability and high availabilityScalability means that the cloud infrastructure can be expanded to very large scale even to thousands of nodesAvailability means that the services are available even when quite a number of nodes failFrom this paper, readers will capture the current status of cloud computing as well as its future trends
