Abstract: An effective method of dynamic power management,based on wavelet and Kalman analysis,is proposed to extend life of wireless sensor network by making economical use of energy.Wavelet,Kalman filter and AR are used to forecast the time when next event will happen,and the state in which wireless sensor should lie is decided based on the time.Total energy consumption is decreased under fraction of event missed as low as posible.Experimental results show the method is effective.

Abstract: ?A selftuning PID temperature control system is designed.In this system,the digital technology is adopted to trigger the SCR,and the parameters of PID controller are automatically calculated according to different error and the variety of error. The circuit is simple and reliable.The system software includes of some structured modules.The practical operation has shown that this system can achieve quite good control performance.

Abstract: MEMS-gyroscope is a kind of angular-rate-sensor developed in recent years, which has smaller size,lighter weight and lower cost than traditional rate-sensor. But temperature changing largely influences the performance of MEMS-gyroscope.The influence by temperature changing is analyzed.Relation among zero-rate-output,phase of drive-axis and temperature is derived.Therefore,a novel compensation algorithm without temperature-sensor is presented.The thermal bias drift of the gyroscope compensated by temperature-experiment is reduced to 5% of the value before compensation.The results show a new method to improve the performance of MEMS-gyroscope.

Abstract: The phase modulation and demodulation of interferometric Mach-Zehnder fiber-optic hydrophone using phase generated carrier (PGC) technique with direct source modulation is described and analyzed through mathematical calculation and simulation. It is found infeasible to overcome the polarization-induced fading influence on output signal through AGC circuit which uses peak or peak-peak signal of interferometric detection method to control the gain of AGC circuit. In this way, the PGC detection system design is completed and the experimental results are given out.
