Abstract: On the basis of a chronicle review on the development of language testing in the past two or three centuries, the paper first introduces the theory of communicative language ability, which has been providing a broad basis for the development and research of the communicative language testing. Then the paper discusses the main features of the communicative language testing from the perspective of the skills to be tested, test tasks and the evaluation system. In the last part of the paper, advantages and disadvantages of the communicative approach are presented first, then the prospect of its future is predicted.

Abstract: During practical applications of clinic, more plentiful information can be provided by using the data fusion based on wavelet transforms of medical image such as CT and MRI. 3D fusion image can be reconstructed by way of surface rendering, which applies a searching algorithm of volume data. It not only improves the efficiency of computation but also displays true surface and realizes the segmentation of ROI, 3D reconstruction and vivid display.
