TL;DR: For instance, the authors reported that 30% of the users were satisfied with the quality of the service provided by the service provider, while only 18% of those who were unsatisfactory were satisfied.
【Driving involves a series of complicated precesses requiring various human capacities, such as perception, will decision, and athletic functions. Consequently, it induces a high degree of continuous concentration of mind and tension from external stimulation, bringing fatigue to the driver, and driver fatigue is counted as one of the major causes of traffic accidents. Nevertheless, because of the complicated urban lives, traffic congestion, job characteristics, and so on, the drivers have to spend a longer time inside a vehicle, and the fatigue and stress thereof is almost unavoidable. We haute, therefore, turned our attention to the reduction in the fatigue during driving by supplying oxygen, and investigated in this research the drivers subjective fatigue evaluations and reaction time when oxygen is supplied in different rates. As a result, we have found that the subjective fatigue feeling is highest at low-rate O/Sub 2/ supply (18%), and fatigue feeling was comparatively reduced at high-rate O/Sub 2/ (30%). The sleepiness also showed the tendency to be reduced at high-rate O/Sub 2/ supply in the case of driving for 1 hour or more. The time for reaction to braking after the sign for urgent stop is given tends to show more substantial reduction at high-rate O/Sub 2/ supply than at low-rate O/Sub 2/ supply after 2 hours driving. It can, therefore, be deduced from the aforesaid results that the subjective responses and behavioral reactions tend to show reduced fatigue at the condition of high-rate O/Sub 2/ supply. Hence, it was suggested that drivers felt subjective fatigue while driving at low-rate O/Sub 2/ and the subjective fatigue and reaction time were reduced at high-rate O/Sub 2/. These findings suggest that the oxygen supply will reduce driver fatigue.】

TL;DR: In this paper, the change of mechanical properties, thermal properties and optical properties by comparing two fabrics which are woven with circular shaped filaments and with triangular ones were evaluated with the KES-FB system.
【The handle of fabrics including tactility and sense of visuality are closely related to the factors governing the preferences of end-users. This study shows the change of mechanical properties, thermal properties and optical properties by comparing two fabrics which are woven with circular shaped filaments and with triangular ones. The fabric mechanical characteristics required for primary hand values were evaluated with the KES-FB system. The mechanical properties measured by KES-FB system shows that fabrics made of circular filaments are greater than those made of triangular ones. The thermal properties measured by KES-F7(Thermo Labo II) system shows that the values of the initial maximum value(qmax) and the thermal conductivity(λ) are higher in the fabric made of triangular shaped ones. When the light rays tall on a surface, the fabric made of triangular filaments shows more lustrous than circular ones.】

TL;DR: In this article, the CAVE questionnaire was used to evaluate the effect of virtual reality games on virtual reality users' health. But, the results showed that 90% of the participants reported symptoms of cybersickness.
36명의 피험자를 대상으로 SSQ(simulator sickness questionnaire)와 자기보고를 이용하여 사이버 멀미의 빈도와 심각도를 조사하였다. 【Our previous studies investigated that narrow field of view (FOV : 50˚) and slow navigation speed decreased the frequency of occurrence and severity of cybersickness during immersion in the virtual reality (VR). It would cause a significant reduction of cybersickness if it were provided cybersickness alleviating virtual environment (CAVE) using biofeedback method whenever subject underwent physiological agitation. For verifying the hypothesis, we constructed a real-time cybersickness detection and feedback system with artificial neural network whose inputs are electrophysiological parameters of blood pulse volume, skin conductance, eye blink, skin temperature, heart period, and EEG. The system temporary provided narrow FOV and decreased speed of navigation as feedback outputs whenever physiological measures signal the occurrence of cybersickness. We examined the frequency and severity of cybersickness from simulator sickness questionnaires and self-report in 36 subjects. All subjects experienced VR two times in CAVE and non-CAVE condition at one-month intervals. The frequency and severity of cybersickness were significantly reduced in CAVE than non-CAVE condition. Virtual environment of narrow FOV and slow navigation provided by electrophysiological features based artificial neural network caused a significant reduction of cybersickness symptoms. These results showed that efficiency of a cybersickness detection system we developed was relatively high and subjects expressed more comfortable in the virtual navigation environment.】

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors developed an emotion rating scale induced by odors and identified the structure of odor emotion by using adjectives that describe odors to develop a rating scale, which consisted of 'Esthetics', 'Intensity', 'Romance', 'Nature' and 'Character'.
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to develop 'Emotion Rating Scale induced by Odors'and to identify the structure of odor emotion induced by odors. At first 37 adjectives that describe odor to develop a rating scale were selected. Subjects were to rate odor emotion on a 7-point bipolar scale. 304 subjects participated and were as a group instructed to rate odor emotion. 53 out of 304 subjects were retested to test for reliability of the scale two weeks after under the same condition and finally 25 adjectives were then selected based on high test-retest reliability and factor loading, high contributing to one factor. 24 subjects each in 10s, 20s, 30s & 40s were to rate odor emotion induced by 5 different odors on the scale developed. The structure of odor emotion consisted of 'Esthetics', 'Intensity', 'Romance', 'Nature'and 'Character'. The structure of odor emotion by age appeared quite similar but that by different odors was little bit different.
