TL;DR: The psychological contract refers to the unwritten, implicit expectations that employees have from the company and vice versa; it is that which defines the things the employee expects from the employer.
Abstract: The psychological contract became known as a research paradigm within corporate research, providing a broad framework which explains the employee-company relations. Despite all this, there are still many debates on the concept and a series of criticism were expressed that led to the necessity of some more rigorous theoretical and empirical analysis. The psychological contract refers to the unwritten, implicit expectations that employees have from the company and vice versa; it is that which defines the things the employee expects from the employer. Consequently, each of the parties involved in the contract may have different perceptions on these commitments and obligations. Thus the psychological contract may be regarded as an exchange relation between the employer and the employee. Breaking the psychological contract affects the performance, the morale, and the motivation of the staff in a negative manner. The information presented in this paper is intended to contribute to the theoretical and methodological development of the concept.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors provide a broader view of the European Foreign Fighters (FF) phenomenon by analyzing this target group from a marketing point of view in order to lay the foundations for a strategy to counteract them.
Abstract: Hybrid war is a reality; war does not depend only on conventional means, but includes communication and propaganda strategies whose role is increasingly important. In the last few years, terrorist cells have spent and keep spending many energies in a global propaganda business. This activity is a fundamental aspect of the conflict. This promotion campaign serves several purposes: legitimating its authority, recruiting militants and motivating sympathizers, and intimidating and conditioning those whose cells they consider enemies. What draws our attention is the sophisticated level of professionalism they demonstrate in managing propaganda and terror. This paper seeks to provide a broader view of the European Foreign Fighters (FF) phenomenon by analyzing this target group from a marketing point of view in order to lay the foundations for a strategy to counteract them.

TL;DR: The IoT is defined, looking at Big Data, based on unprecedented connectivity among objects and to collect massive amounts of data, Internet of Things (IoT) is ready to provide significant business benefits.
Abstract: Nowadays, technology is on an evolution wave both in terms of software (complexes and complete business package software solutions) and hardware (increasing processing power for mobile devices, large consume of Internet world wide). The speed with which humans interact with the Internet, use social media and interconnect their devices with other devices is rapidly growing. This desire to stay connected is translated as an exponential growth of volumes of data. Therefore all data that is generated represents the main engine for innovation both in terms of business and technology. Based on unprecedented connectivity among objects and to collect massive amounts of data, Internet of Things (IoT) is ready to provide significant business benefits. Organizations are interested to adopt IoT as a business strategy and they must be prepared to address a number of technical and administrative challenges. TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyse frames, their function, their types, their roles and the levels at which they manifest themselves, and present a theoretical background of a future case study about the way in which the academic world is symbolically seen by the press.
Abstract: The complexity of the world and the various existing points of view play sometimes the role of barriers to understanding the events that take place around us or in which we are directly involved, that we may find overwhelming sometimes. In this context, we have no choice but to find instruments that can help us find a meaning beyond ”raw” information. Frames and other media effects theories can be this instrument, that can help us understand ”the stories” about the surrounding world. Frames are useful to us because our mind can’t simply process each new situation from scratch. This paper aims mainly at analysing frames, their function, their types, their roles and the levels at which they manifest themselves. It also represents the theoretical background of a future case study about the way in which the academic world is symbolically seen by the press.
