TL;DR: In this paper, the authors discuss the distinction between teoria and pratica in the context of marketing, in which a sistematico and programmatico pendolarism is used to combine semiotica, a disciplina teorica, and a savoir-faire pratico.

TL;DR: In this article, the role of group device activated by training, as a device able to accompany and let resistance evolve to change, is investigated in a group of prison inspectors in Lombardy.
Abstract: Training and resistance to change. A group of prison inspectors Change has always been a delicate and complex process for individuals, groups and organizations who live it. The present work deals with a process of reorganization which involved a prison in Lombardy. It analyzes the resistance to change generated in a group of fifteen inspectors and their evolution along a training program that has seen them involved. The contribution is intended to carry out an exploratory survey on the role of group device activated by training, as a device able to accompany and let resistance evolve to change. In order to understand if and how the micro-temporary organization created during the training was able to accompany the subject to treat the defences emerging from the process of change, a content analysis of the transcripts of seven training sessions was performed. The analysis made it possible to highlight certain types of resistances of the group such as the displacement of problems, the individual reading of the same, the prevalence of the complaint and the expectation of a messianic apical figure who decides how to intervene. The development of the course, through specific proposed activities and actions taken by the trainer, has allowed the group to make a gradual transition to a more active and purposeful position. The resistors were accepted and nurtured, giving way to the emotions (frustration, anger, fatigue, etc.) to find the word, and then be released to make way for a new group-thinking about the change.

TL;DR: The Authoresses analyze the Mafia dimension not limiting it to a criminal behaviour only, but rather decline it along some signifiers: non identity and mafia group which colonizes and subjugates the individual's psychism as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: Kidnapped by revenge: “being locked out of the object” Starting from their work as psychotherapists and by means of some clinical fragments which refer to a group of teenagers of a neighbourhood at risk in Palermo, the Authoresses analyze the Mafia dimension not limiting it to a criminal behaviour only. They rather decline it along some signifiers: non identity and mafia group which colonizes and subjugates the individual’s psychism. Powerful and merciless family ghosts who prevent from building original and autonomous selves. Personalities kneaded with emotional indifference and vindictiveness. Signifiers which account for the large desertification and petrification areas – resistance to change – that psychotherapists, who deal with young people belonging to Mafia families, are able to feel. Key word: mafia, psychotherapy, group, revenge, identity, resistance, change

TL;DR: In this paper, a model of intercultural cohabitation is proposed to highlight the presence of new identities that the process of globalization was compelled to assume, and in a special way, in relation to the different cul-tures that are flowing in Europe everyday.
Abstract: Living with the others in the post-modern period. For a model of intercultural cohabitation This work tends to be a contribution to the discussion of the intercultural cohabitation that recently we find it more and more present in our social context. The meaning of the modernity it’s analyzed shortly in order to highlight the presence of new identities that the process of globalization was compelled to assume, and in a special way, in relation to the different cul-tures that are flowing in Europe everyday. Besides, the text refers to further in-depth concepts of methodological and operating type in order to make us more conscious about the cultural flows continuously produced by the contemporary society. Lately, it seems that is imposing in this direction an organization of the social and of the policy, not anymore under the form of a pyramid, like it was sustained by the modernity, but under the form of archipelago, one post-modern metaphor, the latter is the one that wants to give the message that no culture should prevail over other culture in the intercultural cohabitation. Key words: cultura, convivenza interculturale, globalizzazione, nuove identita

TL;DR: In this paper, a micro-credit program group model was implemented for psychiatric patients at the Mental Health Centre (MHC) of Carpi, in the Modena province, Italy.
Abstract: A Microcredit group in the Center of Mental Health of Carpi: effectiveness and efficiency outcomes Microcredit, a small lending system, invests on an individual's creativity by stimulating the development of their own potential. This process leads to the attainment of various objectives which in turn allow individuals to develop their skill awareness. Consequently, this process also increases an individual’s self-esteem and self-confidence. These factors play an important role in the aetiology of a number of mental disorders. Namely, those characterised by a series of psychological conditions which impede the full development of a person’s personal, relational and social sphere. On the basis of these considerations, in 2007, a microcredit program group model was implemented for psychiatric patients at the Mental Health Centre (MHC) of Carpi, in the Modena province The objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the Microcredit intervention by considering (1) the reduction of patient-costs sustained by the Local Health System and (2) the increased well-being observed in the subjects involved within their individual, family and social realms. Such considerations emerged in the following study where a Microcredit system was implemented as a promising solution for psychiatric out-patients’ inability to work autonomously. It was also put in place to prevent the emergence of mental disorders for individuals exposed to stress caused by unfavourable economic conditions.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examine mirroring as one type of exchange group and show that mirroring, besides being a tool for communication between individuals, also corresponds to the basic function of developing knowledge and connection between people.
Abstract: Social Brain and Social Group: how mirroring connects people A theoretically infinite range of exchanges may take place within the group. This chapter will examine mirroring as one type of exchange group. It will be shown that mirroring, besides being a tool for communication between individuals, also corresponds to the basic function of developing knowledge and connection between people. Recent findings in the field of the neurosciences have shown the presence of ‘mirror neurons’ in the neural system of primates and humans. These neurons make possible exchanges between people, the development of the psyche and the inter-subjective processes that are a basic condition for knowledge acquisition from others, and for development of relational life. Adam Smith (1759, 1776) wrote that Society is a Mirror for the person, that with ought that mirror the person will never come to know herself. Visual mirroring and acoustic mirroring [resonance] connect people in social networks. Persons are formed as nodes in these networks. Smith’s emphasis on sympathy and mirroring brings economics close to group analysis, where interpersonal relations, mirroring and resonance, are intrinsic to the enterprise translation which Foulkes had emphasized from the start. We are all incomplete persons who seek our wholeness, our validation from the gaze, gestures and verbal responses of others. Economic theory emphasizes factors such as social capital the source of benefit for a community which may be rich or scanty, available to all to benefit from. Through the convergence of these sciences, our wealth of knowledge, our intellectual and social capital is increasing. It is said of social capital that to consume it is to produce it, that social capital does not wear out with use, rather with disuse, that like trust it grows, rather than diminishes with consumption.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors start from the concept of myth and the narratives contained in it, and build on the implications mythological events undertake to make a pedagogical, psychological and anthropological re-reading.
Abstract: Cultures and social interactions: reflections on history, geography and Italian language for a contemporary intercultural didactics If you look towards the current social complexity we certainly feel the need to make some reflections concerning contacts with other cultures both in terms of teaching in the school, and on a social level. From this point of view, an in-depth reflection seems urgent which hits the values expressed by many cultures, even if only to better understand the local context we live in, and the necessary changes for a new structure intercultural learning. With this intent, we want to start from far away in time and we start from the concept of myth and the narratives contained in it. In our opinion, the concepts expressed by myth apply very well to the construction of a path that this work aims at developing and that will closely touch some reflections on the Italian language, history and geography. It is to build on the implications mythological events undertake to make a pedagogical, psychological and anthropological re-reading.

Abstract: Teens and contemporary context The following paper seeks to understand the relational, social and cultural reasons and implications of the relationship young people have with adults, especially in the form of asking (for help or explanations) and looking for the meaning of things through thinking about things themselves. The work develops from a reflection on the relationships that can be observed at the phenomenological level, in schools in relation to possible perspectives of change.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors consider a territory, Calabria, which are based on the testimony of, mainly, travellers and narrators of different epochs, which have been selected in such a way as to include the landscape, although not in a naturalistic sense which would inevitably lead to exclusion due to distinctions between different academic disciplines.
Abstract: Bibliographic sources for the understanding of a territory Among the principal problems regarding anthropological research, there is that of sources. However, paradoxically, this can be resolved without excluding any and, indeed, the problem is more how these sources, including those already published, are used so as to provide a diversified evaluation/interpretation. This essay offers considerations of a territory, Calabria, which are based on the testimony of, mainly, travellers and narrators of different epochs. These have been selected in such a way as to include the landscape, although not in a naturalistic sense which would inevitably lead to exclusion due to distinctions between different academic disciplines. The work concludes by looking at the subject of maps, obligatory in such an argument, and who produced and produces them. This is done while taking it for granted that territorial qualities cannot be recorded on a map because they are innumerable and infinite.

TL;DR: Giorgi et al. as mentioned in this paper found that the attitude of political action is characterized by a certain rigidity that sets public institutions to an exclusive welfare role according to a relational dynamic of motherly culture typical of the mafia thought.
Abstract: Legality and thought mafioso: a research pilot at school In this study on the mafia thought, that stays in continuity with other works (Lo Verso, 1998; Lo Verso et al. 1999; Lo Verso, Lo Coco, 2003; Giorgi et al., 2009), the attention is focused on the school as a context symbol of the entrance and the cohabitation in the public space. The research sample consists of students of primary, middle and high schools of some centres in the province of Palermo. Data shows a conception of law reduced to mere compliance with rules, revealing a kind of dogmatic thought which maintains close relations with the mafia fundamentalism. Even the attitude of political action is characterized by a certain rigidity that sets public institutions to an exclusive welfare role according to a relational dynamic of motherly culture typical of the mafia thought. The retreat from public space and the delegation of political function creates a progressive psychic distance that connotes, in a paranoid way, the agora of social life as a bad world and make the Mafia presence to be perceived as naturally inherent to the territory. Social space of the school is still, in our opinion, a preferable place for the clinical intervention especially through the use of clinical social elaboration groups.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors focus on the construction of the minds of the individuals with particular attention to the economic aspects that characterize the act of the individual and their impact within the context of life.
Abstract: The construction of economic thinking: Oikos Nomos In this discussion I want to reflect on the construction of the minds of the individuals with particular attention to the economic aspects that characterize the act of the individual and their impact within the context of life. The construction of social reality and the mechanisms that govern human relations are anchored to the meanings and emotions that hold together individual and group membership through the patterns, conscious and unconscious , which develop and intertwine with each other in the daily course of action. Foulkes speaks of base matrix to mean as a process which is subjective to the individual and to the group at the same time. This matrix is that, in any human group, it generates the oikos nomos, the "good rule", which expresses and highlights the ways in which the group itself represents some crucial issues of coexistence. Among these are the forms through which to solve the so-called basic conflict. In this regard Nash (1951), in the "Game theory" shows that the basic social conflict can be resolved in four ways: lose / lose, win / lose, lose / win, win / win. These modes include, according to Nash, all possible relational forms ranging from exclusion to sharing and commonality. These are expressions of a "rule" that if declined in the " exclusive " generates feelings , behaviors and emotions that leave no room to another , or see another enemy " predator ", the " rule" is internalized through the win-win formula . The resulting process produces a representation of the other as "friend" and resources with which to develop positive relationships.

TL;DR: Pathways to financial literacy through the group: A definition of the methodology as mentioned in this paper is a possible methodology that has huge inherent potential in the path of financial literacy, in the light of this increased attention given to financial education - viewed as essential in the formation of the citizen.
Abstract: Pathways to financial literacy through the group: definition of the methodology There are several social, educational and psychological studies which highlight the importance of using the group in the school as a training setting tended to strengthen and multiply the learning process. In the light of this increased attention given to financial education - viewed as essential in the formation of the citizen – I want to propose, in this paper, a possible methodology that has huge inherent potential in the path of financial literacy.

TL;DR: In this article, a qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the outcome of a training course named "The Work that includes" is presented. The evaluation methodology was based on a multidisciplinary approach ideal to understand the complexity of change and to evaluate training efficacy in terms of improved psychological well-being and social relationships of those involved.
Abstract: The job includes. Outcomes evaluation of job placement and social inclusion pathways programs for disadvantaged people This Study aims to monitor and evaluate the outcome of training course named "The Work that includes", through qualitative and quantitative approach. The evaluation methodology was based on a multidisciplinary approach ideal to understand the complexity of change and to evaluate training efficacy (effectiveness), in terms of improved psychological well-being and social relationships of those involved. The evaluation system is based on microcredit program impact studies. Microcredit experience and training course are both development program with an aim to offering disadvantaged people the opportunity to reach self-employment market. The training course involved 202 participants of which 110 belong to the category disabled and 92 are disadvantaged young people. Only a 35% (72) of the total sample took part in this study. Particularly significant is the improvement that characterizes the capability, self-esteem and psychological well-being dimensions. Following the training course, the subjects achieved a score significantly higher in all scales of measurement of entrepreneurial skills. It is clear, therefore, that participation in the training program has influenced the level of empowerment of the beneficiaries, or the perception that individuals have on themselves and their abilities. This improvement was achieved regardless of individual characteristics (age, gender, level of education) and from belonging to one of the categories of disadvantaged groups (disabled vs. disadvantaged). Psychological well-being obtains the greatest impact. As a result of participation in the training course psychological distress level (reduction of anxiety-depressive symptoms and social dysfunction) decreased and number and quality of social relations increased. This change occurred in the majority of subjects, regardless of individual characteristics and belonging to the categories selected. In conclusion, considering that the primary intention of this training course was to promote pathways to empowerment in order to facilitate a future placement of the parties involved, we can say that these objectives have been achieved.

TL;DR: In this article, a qualitative analysis of a semi-structured interview with a female stranger to Cosa Nostra but lover of a mafia boss from Agrigento is presented.
Abstract: Loving a boss: psychology of mafia through the voice of a lover in Cosa Nostra The present work is a contribution to research aimed at understanding some features of female "mafia psychism" (Lo Verso, 1998), considered a specific and important anthropological and cultural insight into Sicily. The study, framed as clinical-qualitative, will attempt to add additional cognitive data to the mafia world, through the voice of a female stranger to Cosa Nostra but lover of a mafia boss from Agrigento. The methodology used was the semi-structured interview created ad hoc aiming at knowing certain aspects of the subject’s past and present life and drawing knowledge and/or a change in his psychological reality in the context he lives in. The data obtained from the interview were subsequently subjected to a qualitative analysis following the model of Grounded Theory and with the help of the software Atlas-ti. The purpose of this work is to extrapolate the psychodynamic aspects of the examined phenomenon, in an attempt to understand the psyche starting from the attention put to unconscious relations of human psychological life. The observation viewpoint is "group-analytical and subjectual" (Lo Verso, 1989, 1994, Lo Verso, Di Blasi 2011), which sees the subjective identity merge on the axis of the relationship between individual and collective universe.
