Abstract: : A 61-year-old female was admitted who had had symptoms of hematuria and a tumor mass in the urinary bladder for six months. Hypertension and headache after micturition had been noted for one year. Plasma norepinephrine before and after voiding were elevated. Increased I-131 metaiodobenzylguanidine (I-131 MIBG) uptake in the urinary bladder was also found. The plasma norepinephrine level and blood pressure returned to normal after partial cystectomy. Diagnosis of pheochromocytoma was confirmed by histology.
