TL;DR: The petroleum ether, alcoholic and aqueous extracts of the rhizome of Curcuma longa have been tested for its antifertility activity in female albino rats and rabbits and all the three extracts did not exhibit any anti-ovulatory activity in rabbits.
Abstract: The petroleum ether, alcoholic and aqueous extracts of the rhizome of Curcuma longa have been tested for its antifertility activity in female albino rats and rabbits. Of the extracts tested, the petroleum ether and aqueous extracts showed 100 % antifertility activity at a dose of 200 ntglkg body weight in rats. All the three extracts did not exhibit any anti-ovulatory activity in rabbits.

TL;DR: From Krung Kha Mao (Cyclea barbata Miers) d,l−fangchinolin (I) and d-iso-fangginolin (II) were isolated and their structures elucidated by spectra and chemical reactions as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: From Krung Kha Mao (Cyclea barbata Miers) d,l–fangchinolin (I) and d-iso-fangchinolin (II) were isolated and their structures elucidated by spectra and chemical reactions. Isofangchinolin is identical with thalrugosin or thaligine. Thaligine.
