TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) to check the theoretical hypotheses of the SARS-CoV-2 or Covid-19 virus and found that the relationship between consumer behavior and personal, social, psychological and cultural factors are significantly associated.
EnglishConfinement as one of the measures decreed in the health emergency by the Ecuadorian government to counteract the impact of the SARS-CoV-2 or Covid-19 virus, has been reflected in consumer behavior. The purpose of this study is to know the effects that this emerging measure causes in the consumption behavior of people, using the measurement of variables related to personal, social, psychological and cultural factors. A sample of 658 consumers was surveyed in five cities in Ecuador: Cuenca, Guayaquil, Loja, Machala and Quito. The Structural Equation Model (SEM) was used to check the theoretical hypotheses. These theories were accepted considering three dimensions: the loads of the indicators analyzed through the Loadings test> 0.7; the internal consistency reliability measured through the Cronbach Alpha composite reliability test (CR)> 0.7, for the constructs of purchasing behavior, social, personal, psychological and cultural factors; and the convergent validity observed through the Average Variance Extracted (AVE) test> 0.5 for the five constructs. The results show that the relations between consumer behavior and personal, social, psychological and cultural factors are significantly associated, which provides some guidelines to understand consumer behavior and better meet needs in times of crisis.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors identify the factors behind the initiatives they have taken, as they will presumably be consolidated and will be the basis for disruptions unthinkable before the pandemic, and identify the factors that se encuentran detras of the iniciativas that have adopted the empresas, pues presumiblemente se consolidatearan and seran the base of disrupciones that eran impensables antes of the crisis.
EnglishThe sudden emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic has led to profound social and economic changes. Companies have been forced to pivot their business models to ensure their continuity. This study delves into the trends observed in the changes in business models during this crisis. The objective of this research has been to identify the factors behind the initiatives they have taken, as they will presumably be consolidated and will be the basis for disruptions unthinkable before the pandemic. A rapid systematic review has allowed to recover and summarize the results of the most relevant research in this field. Twenty-eight articles have been selected from the main scientific databases, Scopus and Web of Science, using the inclusion decision flowchart proposed by PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis). The main findings of qualitative analysis that has been carried out highlight the importance of technology, with the generalization of digital marketing and sales channels in companies, teleworking and consumption of technological products such as Artificial Intelligence; the adoption of innovations related to the value proposition, in most cases in the form of new products and services, as a more common form of consumer experimentation; and the generalization of collaborative initiatives among all actors in the business ecosystem.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate women empowerment from their participation in social microbusiness supported by microcredits or government programs and propose a preliminary integrative model that incorporates both theories and tends to include this vulnerable group.
EnglishWomen participation in productive groups is a mechanism towards gender equity, empowerment, and poverty reduction (Garcia-Horta y Zapata- Martelo, 2012, Mair, Marti y Ventresca, 2012), these are all part of the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN Development Agenda for 2030 (PNUD, 2017). Public policy programs and Microcredits that support rural women organized in productive groups, look forward to generate economic growth and social wellness (Yunus, 2007, Pokhriyal, Rani y Uniyal, 2014), women in productive groups can become a micro-social business, which add social value, look towards communities’ development, contribute to social advancement and generate economic benefit (Defourny, 2014, Peredo y Christman, 2006). The objective of this article is to analyze women empowerment from their participation in social microbusiness supported by microcredits or government programs. Research is guided under a descriptive documental design methodology; based on a literature review of articles relating both concepts: empowerment and social microbusiness First the concept of empowerment is explained, then its approach to microcredits and public policy programs, next we clarify the social business concept, to finally contrast cases around the world. As a result, we propose a preliminary integrative model that incorporates both theories and tends to include this vulnerable group. We conclude empathy, education, and accompaniment are needed to built social microbusiness (Yunus, 2007, Pokhriyal, Rani y Uniyal, 2014) that contribute to local development (Defourny, 2014, Peredo y Chrisman, 2006).
