TL;DR: In this paper , the use of ISO international standards to assure the quality of higher education is examined and analyzed, and a comparative analysis of basic principles of ESG, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001 is made.
Abstract: This article examines and analyses the use of ISO international standards to assure the quality of higher education. It identifies the specifics of the ISO international quality management system in higher education. It makes a comparative analysis of basic principles of ESG, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001 and determines that ISO 9001 standards are general in nature, they do not offer any specific model of the quality assurance management system and provide an organization with the freedom to create its own industry-specific quality assurance system meeting the requirements of the general management system. Therefore, these standards should be used to develop and establish the quality assurance system in higher education. It is stated that ISO 21001 Educational Organizations – Management Systems for Educational Organizations, specially developed for the educational industry, includes the methodological framework to create the effective management system for educational institutions and provides additional mechanisms for the ESG efficient implementation and development. The application of ISO standards in higher education will help improve the quality of rendered services, increase the competitive ability of higher education institutions and stimulate the development of innovative society in the global perspective.

Abstract: In the article, the authors analyze international experience of scientists, the Ukrainian realities and prospects for selection of expedient innovation tools. The purpose of such selection is to optimize distance education in the primary school teacher training in Ukraine on the basis of innovative technologies. The relevance of the topic is determined by a number of contradictions between the need for innovations in distance education and objective obstacles on the way to this. The purpose of the article is formulation of selection criteria, selection of the most urgent and most relevant accessible technologies and the theoretical substantiation of their application (on the example of teaching and learning the discipline “Mathematics”). The methodology involved includes the following methods: searching, sampling (according to relevance, effectiveness, regional features) and theoretical. Methods of modeling, generalization and forecasting were applied partly. The result of the work is substantiation of various types of innovative lectures as the best method of distance teaching and selection of specific technologies which (according to the didactic evidence) are the most effective. Also, the efficiency of the Moodle platform is described as the most universal access tool. Along with the literature review, fragments of discussion and comparison took place, which testified that the Ukrainian problem of innovative distance education belongs to the resource and psychological (stereotypes) area. International significance. The article is interesting for the reformers of education in developing countries and the scientists who follow the world tendencies in the education digitalization.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed the attack and defense of the Arcada Galaţi centre players in the 2018 National Senior Volleyball Championships and evaluated their own center players in relation to the national level statistics, as well as the actions within the team.
Abstract: The purpose of the present study is to increase the action efficiency of the center players in the Arcada Galaţi Club by using the ”Data Volley” Software, analysing the attack and defense of our own players, as well as the analysis of the opponent centre players participating in the national senior voleyball championships. As coaches of the Arcada Galaţi team it was possible for us to access the tracking statistics of 24 centre players participating in the 2018 National Senior Volleyball Championships and evaluate our own centre players in relation to the national level statistics, as well as the actions within the team. In the ample statistics for each play action, rotation, upon analysing 18 matches (stage I-III) we observed the efficiency of the serve and attack at national level as 43% and 36% respectively, as compared to 48% and 43% as it was recorded for the average centre in Arcada Galaţi.The differences of 5% for the serve and 7% for the attack over the national level point to an advantage in the attack phase. The centre play’s low blocking efficiency of 10% as compared to the 40% national average was the point of interest in the technico-tactical training for a three-month period, so that based on the distribution of the opponents’ passes/attacks an improvement of 8% was achieved in comparison to the initial analysis of the defense phase.

TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the current level of the cadets' self-educational competence formedness in the process of their training in a higher educational institution with specific training environment.
Abstract: Modern times put forward fundamentally new requirements for the qualification of a modern law enforcement officer, his moral maturity, common cultural and intellectual levels. A law enforcement officer must be an educated, highly cultured person, have profound professional knowledge and skills in various fields, and be able to constantly improve his level of knowledge and skills i. e. to possess a high level of educational competence formedness in order to successfully perform his official and civic duties. The purpose of the research is to investigate the current level of the cadets’ self-educational competence formedness in the process of their training in a higher educational institution with specific training environment. The research involved 167 fourth (graduate) year cadets of the National Academy of Internal Affairs (Kyiv). Research methods: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, documents and results of educational activities, observations, questionnaires, method of expert assessment, methods of mathematical statistics. The level of the cadets’ self-educational competence formedness was assessed according to four components such as motivational-personal, cognitive-informational, operational-activity and reflexive-volitional. It was found that the cadets’ self-educational competence is an integral part of professional competence and at the same time an indicator of the success of their professional and personal development. It was found that the level of most of the studied indicators of the cadets according to the distinguished components is low. This indicates the need to substantiate and implement pedagogical conditions for the formation of self-educational competence of the cadets i. e. future law enforcement officers in the process of their training in higher educational institutions with specific training environment, as an important prerequisite for effective performance of their professional tasks.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors focused on the theoretical substantiation and empirical research of dynamic features of successful professional identity formation of students-psychologists in institutions of higher education and the importance of this issue is substantiated and an empirical research is held.
Abstract: The article is devoted to the theoretical substantiation and empirical research of dynamic features of successful professional identity’s formation of students-psychologists in institutions of higher education. The importance of this issue is substantiated and an empirical research is held. The psychological semantic features of the formation’s stages of professionalism, professional crises during the profession of psychologist at the university are studied. The influence of educational and professional activity on professional identity is outlined. The definition of professional identity as a psychological category is concretized, which is the awareness of a specialist of his belonging to a certain profession and a certain professional community. Valid psychodiagnostic tools were used and comparative and correlation analyses of data were performed. The structure of professional identity, which combines cognitive, emotional and behavioural components, is revealed. The results of empirical research confirmed that the dynamics of successful development of professional identity of future psychologists in the learning process is the gradual formation of its structural components. Crisis tendencies in the identity of third-year students have been established. They are caused by frustration in professional and life choices, inconsistency of expectations and ideas about the profession and the realities of its acquisition. The presence of identity crisis of the third-year students was established. It is proved that professional identity is determined by the conscious choice of respondents by profession. It is verified and substantiated that students, who are characterized by the formed mature professional identity, quite consciously choose the educational trajectory and carefully complete it with selective educational components.

TL;DR: In this article, the post-modern conception of primary education development in the New Ukrainian School given the relevant pedagogical principles of child-centrism, given the age and individual mental peculiarities of the pupil's personality, child's creative subjectivity actualization, social partnership in the inclusive environment and competence-oriented education has been enlightened.
Abstract: Under analysis in the following article there is the postmodern conception of primary education development in the New Ukrainian School given the relevant pedagogical principles of child-centrism, given the age and individual mental peculiarities of the pupil's personality, child's creative subjectivity actualization, social partnership in the inclusive environment and competence-oriented education. The postmodern orientation of the primary education rebuilding as a start for the New Ukrainian School innovative development has been enlightened. The competence approach to the vocational pedagogical activity in the conditions of the New Ukrainian School and the perspectives of the primary education development in Ukraine according to the state quality assessment standards have been taken into account. The teaching techniques and priorities in young pupils' education in the New Ukrainian School and elementary school in the European Union states have been studied. There has been observed a significant advantage of the new postmodern reality model, being formed on the ground of childcentrism (interest to the child's unique inner world rather than to the degree of his/her knowledge), techniques of «non-linear», critical, flexible and creative thinking of the partners in the inclusive educational process, vocational thinking, summarizing pedagogical knowledge as subjective fundamental construction – unique response to the postmodern education variability. There has been outlined that the elementary school system rebuilding and modernization in Ukraine is based upon the experience of the primary education in the European Union states.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors analyze the perceptions of master students as regard online teaching in two East-European countries: Lithuania and Romania, focusing on the suitability of online teaching, feedback, and support.
Abstract: During the pandemic, the traditional education system shifted to online teaching and learning. In the time that has passed since the beginning of the pandemic, important changes were recorded in the way that education is thought and delivered, at any level of education. Starting with March 2020, when schools were physically closed, online learning became the only way to continue the educational process, although teachers, parents, students, institutions, and officials from the educational system, as well as decision-makers, were not prepared for such a big change. With advantages and limitations, this substitute for traditional education represented a major challenge and opened up multiple opportunities for transforming education, rethinking pedagogical paradigms in line with changes in education-related fields, and transforming the school ethos into a space for inclusion, promoting values, for access to quality education. This research aims to analyze the perceptions of master students as regard online teaching in two East-European countries: Lithuania and Romania. The focus is on the suitability of online teaching, feedback, and support. The provided feedback illustrates that the online teaching/learning process is strongly influenced by a series of variables related to the teachers’ competencies, their ability to introduce proper didactic methods and adapt the content, their capacity to motivate students, to raise the students’ attention, and to stimulate the students’ involvement. More, providing real support, offering fast feedback, and strongly mediating teacher-student communication represent important issues for creating a successful format for online education.

TL;DR: In this article , a scientific understanding of building a rational system of long-term training for footballers in Ukraine, as well as ways of its practical implementation, should rely on foreign experience in this field to be effective.
Abstract: A scientific understanding of building a rational system of long-term training for footballers in Ukraine, as well as ways of its practical implementation, should rely on foreign experience in this field to be effective. The article aims to theoretically and methodologically justify foreign experience in building a rational system of long-term training for footballers. Each country demonstrates its options for solving this particular problem. The countries occupying leading positions in European football have well-established organizational and management systems for training and selection of athletes in the process of long-term improvement. In general, all of the above-mentioned countries use similar systems with their own specifics stemming from national traditions, economic and logistical conditions. Differences in the training of footballers from different countries are due to the different role and degree of participation of governmental, non-governmental and private structures.

TL;DR: In this article , the characteristics of teacher training for primary school teachers in the information educational environment in higher education institutions (HEIs) were studied, and the authors showed that HEIs do not create favorable organizational conditions for future primary schools teachers to develop their innovative professional and personal qualities.
Abstract: The article studies the characteristics of teacher training for primary school teachers in the information educational environment in higher education institutions (HEIs). It shows that Ukraine’s integration into European and world educational space as a prerequisite for determining effective areas in its development is a strong motive to study the systems of teacher training for primary school teachers, reflect on their positive experience, clarify trends and prospects of their development and discover ways to solve the existing issues in teacher education. The article considers the current state of teacher training for primary school teachers in view of applying information technologies in HEIs. Considering teacher training for primary school teachers as the large-scale nationwide objective, the article analyzes this aspect in those Ukrainian HEIs whose activities are related to this particular area. IT is also essential and necessary to study the experience of individual scholars and practitioners implementing the achievements of informatization in their activities. The detailed study of teacher training for primary school teachers has made it possible to reveal significant shortcomings in this process. The findings prove that HEIs do not create favourable organizational conditions for future primary schools teachers to develop their innovative professional and personal qualities. These include the following: competitiveness; motivation towards lifelong learning and continuing professional development; knowledge about appropriate ways of personal development; creative and IT skills.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors focused on the analysis of 211 questionnaires applied to final-year university Bachelor's degree and Master students at the Social Work speciality and medical speciality (Physical therapy and rehabilitation) recruited from two public universities of the north-east part of Romania.
Abstract: In the context of global social and economic changes caused by Covid-19 pandemic, our study wishes to bring to light the main transformations within the training process of the future specialists in the medical and social field in the context of Romanian online education. This study focused on the analysis of 211 questionnaires applied to final-year university Bachelor’s degree and Master students at the Social Work speciality and medical speciality (Physical therapy and Rehabilitation) recruited from two public universities of the north-east part of Romania. The comparative study analysed the opinions expressed by the university students regarding the training of skills and competences, the involvement in practicum and volunteering activities during the emergency period, the intention to migrate towards another profession or another geographical area. Through this study, we outline a diagnosis regarding the impact of the state of emergency on the academic training process of final-year university students. The purpose of the study is to highlight the progress of the educational process (framework, accumulation of skills and theoretical and practical knowledge, educational and professional concerns and adapting strategies) in the context of the pandemic, among students within the two specialities in their final academic year. This a crucial year for the transition towards a professional career in the healthcare fields chosen. Our results allow us to formulate the conclusion that a high degree of concern regarding the perspectives of finding a job is accompanied by a high propensity towards working abroad after finishing the studies.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors analyzed the subjectivity of a primary school teacher in the context of a post-totalitarian state in the former Soviet republic of Ukraine and identified a number of contradictions in the qualification of this phenomenon, the stability of traditional approaches and the avoidance of interdisciplinary neurophysiological and pedagogical understanding of the problem in Ukraine.
Abstract: The article analyzes the multimodality of approaches to the concept of subjectivity of a primary school teacher in Ukrainian education. The purpose of the article is how to determine the well-established traditional (mostly destructive) and promising directions for the development of the doctrine of subjectivity in the Ukrainian psychological and pedagogical discourse against the background of historical and current experience. We identified a number of contradictions in the qualification of this phenomenon, the stability of traditional approaches and the avoidance of interdisciplinary neurophysiological and pedagogical understanding of the problem in Ukraine. We also found out that the ideas of Ukrainian scientists are of an expressive dual nature: they are divided into sociocentric representations of the subject as an indicator of the social level and nature-centered (subjectivity as an innate permanent resource for self-development). We also made some comments on the use of traditional and innovative ideas of subjectivity in the educational process. The greatest drawback of the Ukrainian scientific discourse is the lack of consideration of neurophysiological patterns in the understanding of subjectivity. Nevertheless, the maximum use of such ideas outlines the prospects for a new stage in the development of psychological and pedagogical science in Ukraine. The international contribution of the article lies in the re-inventory of views on the subjectivity of the post-totalitarian state against the background of world trends. This will allow countries that have little experience in transforming education, psychology and sociology (Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, etc.) not to formally adopt the experience of Western democracies, but also to acquire constructive traditions in their own discourse.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors highlight the analysis of theoretical and methodological work on methodological work as a result of the authors' reflection, and the main aspects of methodological work are investigated.
Abstract: The article highlights the analysis of theoretical and methodological work on methodological work as a result of the authors' reflection. The main aspects of methodological work are investigated. In the context of researching the problem of professional reflection of a college teacher, we consider methodical work as a means of instrumental and technological support of the process of teaching academic disciplines. Methodical work has a potentially reflective character, during which the college teacher carries out self-analysis of his own attitude to professional activity, assimilates its means and methods. The analysis of experience of methodical work of pedagogical colleges has revealed, that its purpose is mainly identified for the purpose of functioning of methodical offices of these establishments and professional activity of their heads. Comprehension of the information received allowed us to conclude: if development of professional reflection of teachers of colleges is not specifically and purposefully carried out in the process of methodical activity, then spontaneous formation of the main components of professional reflection (motivational, cognitive, activity, personal) is ineffective and slow. Consequently, this process should be guided and improved. The method of analysis and synthesis, exploratory and explanatory methods are applied for the purpose of effectiveness of the study.

TL;DR: In this article , the authors address to the modern praxeological approach of professional training of future primary school teachers on the research results application of modern neuroscience, which will significantly help to orient the latter to effective and efficient professional activity.
Abstract: The study addresses to the modern praxeological approach of professional training of future primary school teachers on the research results application of modern neuroscience. The essence of praxeology as a science and praxeological approach in pedagogical activity is considered. The expediency of praxeological orientation during the professional training of future primary school teachers is substantiated. Theoretical bases of neurosciences studies in the system of pedagogical education and neuropedagogy formation are also considered. Based on the neuromyths spread, the problem of obtaining neuroscientific knowledge by future teachers in the context of praxeological orientation is actualized, which will significantly help to orient the latter to effective and efficient professional activity. The key structural components of the author’s model of primary school teacher’s training using a praxeological approach in the context of modern neuroscience are proposed and described in the study. The key theoretical provisions of the motivational and target component, organizational and procedural, semantic, operational and technological, diagnostic and effective components of the specified model are generalized. The theoretical provisions of modern neuroscience are detailed, which are the basis of the semantic component of the model. The purpose and tasks of the author’s course “Modern neuroscience in the education system” are determined, which is the basis of the content component of the model of training future primary school teachers. Perspective directions of future scientific studies are outlined - research of biological and neural feedback in educational activity.

TL;DR: In this paper , a support platform is proposed to assist the process of architectural design, urban planning and landscaping in Romania, but which can also support adjacent studies and analyzes, by simplifying the data acquisition process and also directing the design/planning process to a long-term perspective based on resilient solutions for natural and built heritage and for the conservation of the local cultural landscape.
Abstract: Data handling is a general objective of education, regardless of the educational level (middle school, high school, university or postgraduate) and branch. Being at the intersection between the humanities and the exact sciences, the field of design requires a continuous summation and overlapping of information from specialists. Obtaining data is essential for perceiving the current situation, but also for adapting the solution proposed in the planning process to the given situation, to the particularities and main characteristics of the context. How difficult it is to obtain information, but especially their overlap and correlation to obtain indicators specific to target areas, depends in most cases on the experience of the specialist in the field, but for a recent graduate, the training received during the years of university training is perhaps his most important support. However, there may be data that are predominantly available during university training and data that can be obtained predominantly outside the academic environment (financial data, communication with public institutions). The paper describes a proposal for a support platform to assist the process of architectural design, urban planning and landscaping in Romania, but which can also support adjacent studies and analyzes. The purpose of the platform is to support the design and planning process of heritage and landscape, architecture and urban planning, by simplifying the data acquisition process and also directing the design/planning process to a long-term perspective, which is based on resilient solutions for natural and built heritage and for the conservation of the local cultural landscape.

TL;DR: In this paper , the main characteristics of such training in West European countries, given that they are exemplary in terms of social security, are analyzed with the help of differential and comparative-typological analysis.
Abstract: The article outlines some drawbacks of research training for social workers in Ukraine. To improve it, one should consider the main characteristics of such training in West European countries, given that they are exemplary in terms of social security. With the help of differential and comparative-typological analysis, the article singles out methodical aspects which social work training in Ukraine lacks and, therefore, suggests relevant recommendations for enhancing research activities of future social workers. Besides, it proves that the reforming of research training implies diversifying forms of research activities, as well as bringing them together with industrial placements and educational autonomy of students. At the same time, research activities should be a cross-cutting component in the context of applying interactive, information and project-based methods of teaching and learning. The international relevance of the article lies in identifying areas of research and related activities in the leading European countries. This can be a starting point for improving education systems in the post-Soviet countries in which there is a pronounced divergence between instructional, theoretical and research activities within social work training.

TL;DR: In this paper , the stages of speech development of a preschool child from birth to seven years old were studied. But the authors focused on the sound form of a word, establishing a common sound form that is similar in different words, combining this form with a certain element, a phenomenon of the reality, and, as a consequence, projection of this sound complex to all words to denote the phenomenon in general.
Abstract: The problem of formation of grammatical structure of language in pre-schoolers is fundamental for understanding development of children’s speech. A brief description of the process of speech formation in preschool children suggests that a turning point in the development of speech is isolation of morphological elements of words from the merged speech material and their synthesis in their own utterances. However, differences in the actual data of researchers prevent discovery of a conditional standard by which grammatical structure of language is formed in ontogenesis. We considered the stages of speech development of a preschool child from birth to seven years old. We have singled out some important scientific facts for our study concerning the child’s acquisition of morphology and word formation. Thus, acquisition of grammatical knowledge is based on visual representation. This is quite a difficult way for a child, in which one can identify several stages: focusing on the sound form of a word, establishing a common sound form that is similar in different words, combining this form with a certain element, a phenomenon of the reality, establishing a “hard” connection of the sound complex with a specific phenomenon, and, as a consequence, projection of this sound complex to all words to denote the phenomenon in general (“model - type”).

TL;DR: In this article , the authors present the results of a study of the quality of education in conditions of forced distance learning in the initial conditions of the introduction of quarantine restrictions caused by COVID-19.
Abstract: The article presents the results of a study of the quality of education in conditions of forced distance learning in the initial conditions of the introduction of quarantine restrictions caused by COVID-19. The study was conducted in two stages to identify the quality of education in conditions of forced distance learning for teachers and students from 03.30.2020 to 04.04.2020. The study involved teachers in the amount of 42 people. To study the perception of the image of students by teachers in the framework of forced distance and classroom learning, a questionnaire was developed that covers various aspects of student activity under quarantine restrictions. The survey involved 326 students from different faculties. Students were asked to answer questions regarding their assessment of the educational process in conditions of forced distance learning. This helped to determine some aspects of the quality of education in the conditions of forced distance learning. The results showed that the quality of education in the opinion of teachers after the transition to forced distance learning gives reason to talk about the emergence of perceptual-cognitive dissonance among teachers, because the information that they receive in the process of communicating with students online does not meet their own expectations in many ways perception, imagination, analysis (due to the minimum of information during communication), which is about the typical direct process of interaction with students, their personal experience regarding this interaction. Thus, for students of all courses, the quality of education is associated with both personal and professional growth. Our study showed that, despite the fact that students are aware of the need to form personal qualities, they do not fully understand what these qualities are and in what ways they need to be developed.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors address the issue of autonomy and the specifics of sports activities, kinds of rules and structures in terms of their inclusion in the sphere of important principles of national and community law.
Abstract: This article addresses the issue of autonomy and the specifics of sports activities, kinds of rules and structures in terms of their inclusion in the sphere of important principles of national and community law. One of the main problems for each sports entity represents the assurance of an efficient management (organized and competitive ) given its legitimate objectives , knowledge and application of the legal framework that regulates the activity as well as their impact on competition, as appropriate is inherent and proportionate to the objectives pursued. At the same time, the sports independence and sports organizations must be supported and protected, and their autonomy must competitively provide cohesion and participatory democracy. In national and international legislation, the autonomy of sport is treated differently. In this context, the formation of sports law, as a new branch of law will contribute to the professionalization of sports, to ensure the protection of the subjects’ rights of sports activities, the sports against abusing, as well as protection against corruption and the manipulation of the competitions results on various sport events. European Council is interested in the development of sports and its regulation along with the member states, fact reflected by the approved recommendations and implemented in practice, on the principles of good governance in sport, the recognition of the autonomy of sport, the promotion of honesty in the management of the basic values of sport (specificity of democratic, ethical, efficient and responsible sports activities). The legislative framework remains one of the most acute problems in this area whereas some states provide an extensive legislation (codified) and regulations for the sports autonomy, but most of them are limited to policy statements and sports development plans. Good governance with the recognition and respect of autonomy is an important issue for sports, including sports organizations, as their management must be ensured in a sustainable manner in close collaboration with public bodies, non-profit organizations and various economic organizations (economic agents), sports equipment, manufacturers, sponsors and media. At the beginning of the 21st century, the concepts of "autonomy" and "governance" have become major issues in international, national and - sometimes - local sports debates. Thus, the issue of "sport specificity" (recognized in Europe in 2009 by Article 165 of the Lisbon Treaty), autonomy and governance was broadly addressed. Thus, these concepts are in a direct connection with the development of national and international policies in the direction of improving the management of sport and profile organizations.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the problems of the essence of the professional training of elementary school teachers in the context of society informatisation and found out that digital competence is supported by digital literacy.
Abstract: This article studies the problems of the essence of the professional training of elementary school teachers in the context of society informatisation. It is specified that the development of the scientific and technological progress incites to the information and communications technology onrush. It is noted that the educational reform is currently being implemented in Ukraine. The definitions of the concepts ‘competence’, ‘responsibility’ and ‘informational competence’ are established. The author outlines the publications of the foreign and national researchers of the problem raised. It is found out that digital competence is supported by digital literacy. It is accentuated that a future elementary school teacher should use the modern technology, have a high level of digital competence formedness. It is studied that the foreign higher educational institutions had experiments conducted on the use of platforms for online meetings and websites development at the beginning of the XXI century. It is indicated that the skill to interact in different environments, to share the knowledge, to form a new communication, to correct the information is one of the advantages of the information and communications technology from the students` viewpoint. The author emphasises that the outbreak of COVID-19 incited lecturers and teachers at higher educational institutions to arrange the distance education as an alternative to the intramural form of study. It is ascertained that students appeared to be ready to develop their own pedagogical competence during their online education. The article shows that digital competence includes three measurers: technical skills, cognitive skills and ethical knowledge. The author outlines the ways for forming digital competence in attendees of educational institutions, presents some educational programs, e-sources that an elementary school teacher can use when organising the educational process. It appears that the factor of successful use of the information-communications technology is an adequate number of computer laboratories and appliances, broadband Internet access.

Abstract: Taking into account that time goes by very quickly and the efficiency of an activity depends on how time is used, the purpose of this study is to highlight the formation of students’ ability to properly organize their time through activities related to the design and conduct of teaching practice lessons. The current study is based on the responses given by 181 male and female students aged 21-30 years who were engaged in the organization and conduct of lessons within the professional training practice in school units under the guidance of coordinating teachers. Study participants completed, at the end of the teaching practice that took place between 1.10.2020 and 30.01.2021, a questionnaire where they presented information about how they had organized their time in conducting lessons. The research students attend professional training programs for physical education teachers, physiotherapy, and sports performance carried out in three university centers (“Vasile Alecsandri” University of Bacău, National University of Physical Education and Sport in Bucharest, and University of Pitești). The questionnaire included 20 closed-ended questions. The conclusions highlight that during the teaching practice, due to the responsibilities derived from achieving the themes and operational objectives of the lessons, students have become aware of both the passage of time and the importance of making good use of it, which was accompanied by the formation of their time management skills.

TL;DR: In this article , the predictive role of nonword reading abilities (accuracy and fluency) and rapid naming (RAN) over word reading fluency was tested and the results showed that RAN and non-word reading accuracy are direct predictors of word reading accuracy.
Abstract: This paper aims to test the predictive role of nonword reading abilities (accuracy and fluency) and rapid naming (RAN) over word reading fluency. Letter knowledge (LK) and phonological awareness (PA) for literacy were accounted for as control factors due to their ceiling effects. We test the direct impact of the main predictors and their indirect outcomes by controlling for word reading accuracy. To this end, 206 children participated and completed measures for nonword reading abilities, rapid naming, word reading accuracy, fluency, and letter knowledge, and phonological awareness. The results show that RAN and nonword reading accuracy are direct predictors of word reading accuracy. Word reading fluency is significantly associated with rapid naming. The effect of RAN, nonword reading accuracy, nonword reading fluency on word reading fluency is partially mediated by word reading accuracy. We discuss the practical implications.

TL;DR: In this article , the authors provide an insight into the issues of using modern information and communication technology in distance learning of a foreign language in higher educational establishments, paving the way for developing new effective EFL practices.
Abstract: The article provides an insight into the issues of using modern information and communication technology in distance learning of a foreign language. In many ways, technology has profoundly reshaped English as a foreign language (EFL) teaching and learning in the context of COVID-19 pandemic. Modern online platforms and services have become indispensable tools in higher educational establishments, paving the way for developing new effective EFL practices. The way distance learning of a foreign language is implemented can be divided into synchronous and asynchronous. A thorough analysis of available online platforms and services has proven that such a technologically integrated approach is suitable for materials development in foreign language teaching. Along with demonstrating a high level of interactivity, they are also easy to use and contribute substantially to building strong reading, listening, writing, and speaking skills. Depending on the type of instruction, online resources perform different functions. For example, synchronous learning promotes learner communication by fostering cooperative activities and often expanding the lesson above the curriculum. By contrast, asynchronous learning provides the space to expand the learners’ individual experiences of language.

TL;DR: In this paper , a technique for formation of pedagogical skill in future teachers of physical culture on the basis of integrated development is stated in the article, where the author's technique is based on the post-modernist paradigm of education.
Abstract: Improving the efficiency of training of specialists with higher education who have a high level of professional qualification and are able to take an active position in their professional activities at the present stage is one of the primary strategic objectives of the educational policy and the main goal of higher physical education institutions. The leading place in the system of training specialists in this area is occupied by pedagogical disciplines, the study of which lays the foundations of pedagogical skills, which determine the professional and pedagogical readiness of graduates for future activities. On the other hand, the postmodernist paradigm of education is a cross-cultural and synchronously oriented phenomenon, an important component of which is world physical culture and sports, which adds relevance to the study. The author’s technique for formation of pedagogical skill in future teachers of physical culture on the basis of integrated development is stated in the article.

TL;DR: In this article , a post-modern approach to professionalization of practical psychologists at the initial stage of their professional training, which requires new approaches, is discussed. But the authors focus on the acquisition of practical experience in collegial interaction between psychologists and clients at motivational, cognitive, and emotional levels.
Abstract: The article deals with a postmodern approach to professionalization of practical psychologists at the initial stage of their professional training, which requires new approaches. Also, the article considers a postmodern approach to professional training of practical psychologists as systemic and focused on scientific and practical spheres of professional activities of these specialists to realize their educational and professional needs. A postmodern model of their professional training includes competencies, professional activities, personalization, and values. Besides, the article outlines some essential practical tasks. They involve analyzing the acquisition of practical experience in collegial interaction between psychologists and clients at motivational, cognitive, and emotional levels. The article determines psycho-pedagogical factors and criteria for developing these structural components at personal and professional levels. It also highlights the priority factors in psychologists’ professional development and conditions for meeting their educational needs in HEIs. Importantly, HEIs should be able to develop future specialists’ professional consciousness, dialogical competence, and adequate professional self-concept. The article presents the author’s postmodern model of professional training for future practical psychologists along with the socio-psychological development of their professional identity. The model aims to provide students with professional experience so that they can perform their professional duties related to psychological counselling, psychodiagnostics, psychoprophylaxis, psychocorrection and psychological experiments through self-knowledge, self-understanding, and self-acceptance of their personal and professional qualities.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the level of physical activity and its influencing factors in a sample of 333 middle school students (mean age = 12.93, SD = 1.20) from Cluj-Napoca, Romania, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Abstract: Physical activity has numerous health benefits, including better cardiorespiratory fitness, skeletal health, psychological health and reducing obesity. However, more than 80% of adolescents worldwide are not active enough, failing to meet the recommended 60 minutes of daily physical activity, and due to COVID-19 restrictions, the percentage might be even higher. Objective: This study aimed to investigate the level of physical activity and its influencing factors in a sample of 333 middle school students (mean age = 12.93, SD = 1.20) from Cluj-Napoca, Romania, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted and two instruments were used to assess interest variables, the Physical Activity Questionnaire for Older Children and the Cues, Perceived Benefits and Barriers to Physical Activity Questionnaire. Results showed a low level of physical activity in our sample for both male (M = 2.76, SD = 0.76) and female (M = 2.62, SD = 0.63) adolescents. The most commonly reported cue to physical activity was “encouragement from parent(s) to exercise”, the most prevalent perceived benefit was “to stay in shape”, and the most powerful barrier was “wanting to do other things with personal time”. Conclusion: Understanding adolescents’ cues, perceived benefits and barriers to physical activity could help teachers and coaches to provide suitable programmes, and parents or peers to support adolescents. Discussion includes implications for practice and guidelines for policymakers and participants.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors identify and categorise the lexical units denoting teachers' emotions in the context of distance learning during the COVID-19 lockdown and assess their feelings towards remote learning.
Abstract: The purpose of the study is to identify and categorise the lexical units denoting teachers’ emotions in the context of distance learning during the COVID-19 lockdown. Research methods: discourse and content analysis, categorisation, questionnaire “The emotional aspects and attitudes of teachers to various aspects of reform in secondary education”. The sample consisted of 413 teachers (90.3% female) who participated in an online survey. Teachers taught at different educational levels (i.e., elementary, middle and secondary schools). They completed self-report questionnaire that assessed their feelings towards remote learning. Predominantly positive and sthenic emotions (interest and joy) were reported regarding distance learning. The perception of online learning as the only possible form has changed teachers’ discourse regarding interaction with students: there was a shift from positive emotions towards negatively marked asthenic lexical units (disappointment, anxiety and disapproval). The emotional component of teachers’ attitudes towards online learning was characterised as undifferentiated in the beginning of distance learning. As teachers’ involvement in online learning increased, the share of respondents with an indifferent attitude decreased, while the share with a positive attitude towards this innovation - increased. Teachers’ discourse is characterised by a positive emotional connotation at the start of online learning; however, the awareness of the inevitability of such a format led to the predominance of negatively marked, asthenic emotions. A decrease was measured in the frequency of such lexical units such as “interest” and “joy”, while “confidence in oneself” has sharply increased.
