Abstract: The supercritical water has some special characteristics that common water has no, and it can mix with oxygen with any ratio and offer solvent condition of SCWO reaction. It is a new research aspect to apply the SCWO technology on environmental protection. The technology has rapid development in recent years because of its many advantages such as low cost, good speed and high efficiency in disposing of wastes. The paper introduces the characteristics of supercritical water and the principles of SCWO, and reviews the applications of SCWO technique in treating poison organic wastes, downflow sludge and human metabolism, and point out the problems of SCWO during the research, and finally the application progresses in industry are introduced.

Abstract: The return sewage of oil refining using in system of circulating cooling water as supplying water was studied.The result showed that the sewage of oil refining should be good to return use in system of circulating cooling water,after treating with chemicalbiological method,again with reactor of biology padding and sieve pool of double sieving material.The use of complex stable material may stably run, as concentration multiple is two and temperature is less than 60℃. Abstract: Synthesis of adipic acid by Na 2WO 4·2H 2O catalyzed oxidation of cyclohexanol/cyclohexanone with 30 percent hydrogen peroxide oxidation in the presence of acid ligands can be well performed. The reaction takes place without any organic solvent and phase transfer agent. The effects of various ligands and the ratio of Na 2WO 4·2H 2O with ligand are investigated. By using sulfosalicylic acid as acidic ligand and the mole ratio of sulfosalicylic acid to Na 2WO 4·2H 2O is 1∶2, the isolated yield of adipic acid in the oxidation of cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol is 82.1% and 68.6%, respectively. Further experiment is carried out to investigate the catalytic activity of this catalyst system when catalyzing the oxidation reaction of the mixture of cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol to adipic acid.
