Abstract: A method,based on the fractal analysis,was proposed for the prediction of variations of flow regimes in a rectangular spouted bed of 200?mm×15?mm×600?mm.Three types of particle systems with different diameter or density were used as solid phase.It is found that the fixed bed,stable spouting and unstable spouting flow pattern can be clearly identified in the bed under different gas flow velocities and different solid particles,according to the characteristics of logE[R(t,τ)/S(t,τ)] vs logτ curves corresponding pressure fluctuations signals.

Abstract: The gas pressure drop of a rotating packed bed (RPB) is an important factor in its engineering design. In this paper, the gas pressure drop of a cross-flow rotating packed bed is studied based on air-water system. In the range of experiments, results show that the cross-flow pressure drop is tenth of counter-flow and is influenced by rotating speed and gas flow rate. It is almost independent of liquid flow rate.

Abstract: Cu-Mg-A1 hydrotalcite-like compounds were prepared by coprecipitation,and then CuO-MgO-Al_2O_3 catalyst for one-step synthesis of methyl isobutyl ketone from acetone and hydrogen at atmospheric pressure were obtained by calcining Cu-Mg-A1 hydrotalcite-like compounds.The influence of catalyst composition and reaction condition on the conversion of acetone and selectivity of MIBK was investigated.It was found that the best catalyst composition was n(Cu)∶n(Mg)∶n(Al)=4∶16∶10 and the conversion of acetone was 73.88%and that the selectivity of MIBK was 55.23% at the optimum reaction conditions of temperature 240?℃,H_2/acetone molar ratio 2.5 and liquid space velocity 4.8?mL acetone/h·g.

Abstract: The connotation of efficiency and effectiveness was redefined and the definitions were used to describe the characterics of the flooding surfactants in reducing oil/water interfacial tension.The testing and calculating results show that efficiency and effectiveness can be treated as two gauges to evaluate and choose flooding surfactants.And the length and branching of alkyl chain in the hydrophobic group are main structure factors affecting surfactants' efficiency and effectiveness.

Abstract: Benzyl cinnamate has been synthesized with hexadecy trimethylammonium bromide as the catalyst.The factors influencing on the yield of the reaction,such as the amount of catalyst,reaction temperature,reaction time and molar ratio of sodium cinnamate to benzyl chloride,are investigated.The result shows that hexadecy trimethylammonium bromide is an effective catalyst and the optimum conditions of preparation are determined with yield of benzyl cinnamate 96.3%.The conditions are as follows:molar ratio of sodium cinnamate to benzyl chloride is 1∶1.3,amount of the catalyst is 0.6 grams,reaction temperature is 95℃ and reaction time is 3.0 hours.The structure is characterized by IR,~1H NMR and MS.
