Abstract: Petroleums are widely used in many sections of our life,most of them are inevitably discharged into the soil in use and production process,which can pollute environment.In this paper,the origin and the existence state of petroleums in soil are briefly introduced,the enormous pollution to soil are completely summarized,the effects of petroleum pollutants to animal,plant and human are also analyzed at length.So whatever from the point of environmental pollution or economical development, it is very important to know about environmental safety of petroleum in soil.

Abstract: Lactic acid and n-butanol were used to prepare n-butyl lactate,the reaction waseatalyzed by sodium bisulfate,vitamin C,ferric chloride and ammonium ferrous sulfate.The effects of the kinds and amounts of catalyst,reaction time and the amounts of n-butanol on esterification reaction were dis- cussed.The products were characterized by IR and index of refraction.The results showed that the es- ter yield is higher than 85.2% under the optimum preparation conditions:0.25 g sodium bisulfate is used as catalyst,the mole ratio of lactic acid and n-butanol is 1:3.5 with refluxing for 2 h.

Abstract: A byproduct of high-molecular polyethyene from polyethylene unit of Jilin Petrochemical Company was modified by graft copolymerization with maleic anhydride(MAH).The effects of monomer,the amount of initiator,grafting time and temperature on the qrafting ratio were investigated.The low M_W PE grafted could be used in the filling system of PE/ CaCO_3 to enhance the affinity between polyethene and calcium carbonate,resulting in the improved properties of the system.

Abstract: HDI's molecular structure is a special saturated straight chain and it has highly unsaturated double bonds(isocyanate group).It has such very lively and chemical properties that can be used to form polyurea with water.And it also reacts with polyurethane to form polyol,reacts with amine to bi- uret.Ontology reactions occur under the catalyst.HDI and its HDI-derivatives own the characteristic of stability,being widely used in coating,adhesive,leather,and other fields.This article reviews the ex- perimental and theoretical studies relating to the chemical reaction of HDI.
