TL;DR: In this article, the authors argue that the impact of education is equal to that of economics, politics, and technological advances, and that if we wish to see change, educational reform has to be designed to operate in a global-human context, empowering and allowing people to achieve their potential.
Abstract: Education is a key and fundamental tool required to achieve social change, especially regarding social cohesion and co-existence. Education affects the most critical issues facing humanity, including the proliferation of various forms of violence, environmental degradation, and annihilation of cultures. I argue that the impact of education is equal to that of economics, politics, and technological advances. Therefore, if we wish to see change, educational reform has to be designed to operate in a global-human context, empowering and allowing people to achieve their potential. It should instil in individuals and groups respect for others with whom they interact, in a global as well as local sense. The article draws on the theories of Edgar Morin, Reuven Feuerstein, and Jerome Bruner, and their contributions to the development of educational approaches that encourage a culture of responsible, participatory, and creative coexistence. .

TL;DR: In this article, the authors take a look on trends and challenges in the professional development of adult educators and propose a model of a self-directed and self-responsible actor without the need of any professional help.
Abstract: In the recent decade it became more important to reflect about the work which is done in adult education, who is doing it and how he is qualified to do that. It is somehow the reaction on the shift to the learner, who is more and more seen as a self-directed and self-responsible actor apparently without the need of any professional help. So the author would like to take a look on trends and challenges in the professional development of adult educators.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors give some interpretive lines about theories and methodologies of peace education and explain how to insert within a broader meaning of culture of peace the peace education contribution.
Abstract: The article wants to give some interpretive lines about theories and methodologies of peace education. The peace education is linked at the conflict and violent context and therefore there is not one and unique approach to study and to understand it how to plan research and projects on peace education. The article explains also how to insert within a broader meaning of culture of peace the peace education contribution. Today there is the awareness that every democratic education of quality must involve culture of peace with different approaches integrating human rights and development of mediation and nonviolent tools.

Abstract: In the following paper we will present a teaching innovation experience called RIECU (Spanish acronym for Network of Childhood Education: school - continuing education - university). This experience aims to build bridges between the initial and the lifelong learning, the theory and the practice, and the school and the University, through collaborative work and using the Work Projects as conductive thread. We will also show what the university students’ perception was of the increase in their acquisition of professional skills after participating in this experience.
