TL;DR: Polymorphisms in the GSTP1 105 may have significant impact on the response of NSCLC patients platin-based chemotherapy.
Abstract: Objective:To study the relationship of GSTP1 and clinical response response to platinum based chemotherapy in advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods:A total of 62 patients with advanced NSCLC were routinely treated by cisplatin or carboplatin-based chemotherapy. The clinical response was evaluated after at least 2 cycles.Single nuclear polymorphisms(SNPs) in GSTP1 IIe105Val were assessed with 5'nuclease allelic discrimination assay(TaqMan) by real-time polymerase chain reaction and direct sequencing. The genotypes were tested for an association with clinical response response in platin-based chemotherapy in advanced NSCLC.Results:The response rate to chemotherapy was significantly higher in patients with the Ile/Val +Val/Val genotype than in patient with Ile/Ile genotype(45% VS 28.6%,OR=0.25,95% CI= 0.062 2~0.954;P0.05).Conclusion:Polymorphisms in the GSTP1 105 may have significant impact on the response of NSCLC patients platin-based chemotherapy.

TL;DR: Self-efficacy for disease management is related to quality of life of Chinese HIV-infected people and nurses should instruct PLWHA to manage symptoms to increase self- efficacy for Disease management.
Abstract: Objective:To investigate the relationship between self-efficacy for disease management and quality of life among of people living with HIV/AIDS(PLWHA).Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted. The HIV Self-Efficacy(HIV-SE) Questionnaire and Quality of Life Scale for Chinese HIV-infected people(QOL-CHIV) were used to assess self-efficacy for disease management and QOL of 242 patients with HIV/AIDS.Results:The mean HIV-SE score of this group was 6.59±1.57,comparing to the similar study abroad,it was significantly lower(P0.01).The mean total score of QOL-CHIV was 56.21±16.22,the QOL of these subjects were low.Self-efficacy for disease management was positively correlated with quality of life(r=0.26~0.59,P0.01).Conclusion:Self-efficacy for disease management is related to quality of life of Chinese PLWHA.Nurses should instruct PLWHA to manage symptoms to increase self-efficacy for disease management.

TL;DR: Compound Danshen Dropping Pill was a safe, efficient drug in treating myocardial ischemia of coronary heart disease and its influence on hemorrheology was significantly different from that of contrast group.
Abstract: Objective: To study the efficiency of Compound Danshen Dropping Pill in coronary heart disease Angina Pectoris and its influence on hemorrheology.Methods:120 patients with angina pectoris were divided into 2 groups by single blind procedure.60 patients were treated with Compound Danshen Dropping Pill for 2 months while the other 60 patients were treated with Isosrbide linitrate. Results: In patients of Compound Danshen Dropping Pill therapy group, remission rate of angina was 88%,and the responsive rate of ECG was 80%,In Isosorbide dinitrate group,90% patients showed angina release, and the responsive rate of ECG was 78%,hemorrheology indices of Compound Danshen Dropping Pill therapy group were significantly different from that of contrast group. Conclusion:Compound Danshen Dropping Pill was a safe, efficient drug in treating myocardial ischemia of coronary heart disease.

TL;DR: Hp infection may be one of the reasons of HSP in children, and is related with Henoch purpura, and eradication of Hp can reduce recurence of H SP.
Abstract: Objective:To investigate the relationship between helicobacter pylori(Hp)infection and Henoch-Schonlein purpura(HSP)in children and find out the etiological treatment for HSP.Methods:Positive rate of Hp-IgG between normal children and children with HSP were compared.Children with Hp were randomly divided into two groups and were respectively treated with Hp eradication therapy together with conventional therapy and conventional therapy only. The recurrence rates were compared. Results:The infection rate in 60 children with HSP,especially in the 40 children with Henoch purpura was significantly higher than that in normal children.Hp infection with triplex therapy for 2 weeks in HSP could reduce the recurrence of HSP.Conclusion:Hp infection may be one of the reasons of HSP in children, and is related with Henoch purpura.Eradication of Hp can reduce recurence of HSP.

TL;DR: Mouse nerve growth factor combining with mecobalamin is safty and effective to the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
Abstract: Objective:To observe the efficacy of the mouse nerve growth factor(NGF) treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN).Methods:65 patients with DPN were randomly divided into two groups(A and B group),A group was given to mNGF,B group was given to mecobalamin only.Observing the clinical efficacy, the improving condition of MNCV and SNCV before and after curation. Results:The efficacy of A group was highter than that of B group(P0.01),the MNCV and SNCV of A and B group become faster after curation(P0.05),the nerve conduction velocity of A group was higher than B group(P0.01).Conclusion:Mouse nerve growth factor combining with mecobalamin is safty and effective to the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
