TL;DR: In this article, it has been shown that the evolution of acetic acid is a chain reaction proceeding without the agency of free radicals, which can be interpreted in terms of simple and well-established chemical reactions.
Abstract: Polyvinyl acetate is found to be thermally stable at 190°C in vacuo. Above this temperature acetic acid is evolved leaving a residue of polyacetylene. Experiments have been carried out at 213, 224 and 235°C and it has been shown that the evolution of acetic acid is a chain reaction proceeding without the agency of free radicals. Initiation takes place at the ends of the polymer chains and initiation and propagation can be interpreted in terms of simple and well-established chemical reactions.

TL;DR: In this paper, the densities of mixtures of hydrogen peroxide and water have been determined at 0, lo\", 25, 50, and 96 ˚ C by a simple displacement method.
Abstract: The densities of mixtures of hydrogen peroxide and water have been determined at 0\", lo\", 25\", 50\" and 96\" C by a simple displacement method. The method is found convenient and accurate for determining the concentrations of mixtures of hydrogen peroxide and water. The data have been fitted to equations and the agreement of the data and equations is about 1 part in 5000 for all temperatures except 96\" C where it is about 1 part in 1400.
