TL;DR: In this paper, a method of predicting network and CPU load variance within a wide range, from several minutes to over a week, is proposed to achieve effective load balancing and a robust Grid environment.
Abstract: To achieve effective load balancing and a robust Grid environment, extended load forecast for computational resources is increasingly required. Thus, this paper proposes a method of predicting network and CPU load variance within a wide range, from several minutes to over a week. This is the widest range of prediction of the existing algorithms in the load of computational resources for the Grid environment. The distinctiveness of our algorithm is in using seasonal load variation for both load variance and one-step-ahead prediction. We apply seasonal fluctuation in CPU load to network load variation especially for network load variance prediction. Furthermore, the Markov model-based meta-predictor is used for one-step-ahead prediction, which is sensitive to late trends. The results of the experiments demonstrate that our algorithm gives a good curve for expected 8-day-long load variance, and makes accurate one-step-ahead predictions. The mean error rate for one-step-ahead predictions is 9.4% in the case of network load, and 6.2% in the case of CPU load. Moreover, the least mean error rate for wider range forecasts is 5.5% for network load variation, and 3.6% for CPU load variation.

TL;DR: In this paper, a new construction of the minimum knowledge undeniable signature scheme is proposed, which solves a problem inherent in Chaum's scheme and guarantees signature confirmation and disavowal with the same protocol (or at the same time).
Abstract: This paper proposes a new construction of the minimum knowledge undeniable signature scheme which solves a problem inherent in Chaum's scheme. We formulate a new proof system, the minimum knowledge interactive bi-proof system, and a pair of languages, the common witness problem, based on the random self-reducible problem. And we show that any common witness problem has the minimum knowledge interactive bi-proof system. A practical construction for undeniable signature schemes is proposed based on such a proof system. These schemes assure signature confirmation and disavowal with the same protocol (or at the same time).

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for recognizing abdominal organs in a computed tomography image primarily based on mathematical morphology is described, where the coordinate origin and the scale in the abdominal region are first identified and then set up four regions for recognition.
Abstract: This paper describes a method for recognizing abdominal organs in a computed tomography image primarily based on mathematical morphology. We first identify the coordinate origin and the scale in the abdominal region and then set up four regions for recognition. The recognition process consists of two steps: segmentation and identification. For the segmentation step we employ a differential top-hat (DTT) operation. For the identification step, we first identify the vertebra that the lowest rib meets. The gravity center of this vertebra is used to set the coordinate origin. In three regions, we separate organs based on threshold values, while in a region containing the liver and stomach we use RE (Recursive Erosion) and GI (Geodesic Influence) in order to separate touched organs. The separated organs are identified or labeled based on the size and position. This method is judged to be effective since we were able to obtain a recognition or labeling rate of approximately 91%.

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of stored charge caused by changing the plasma parameter can be accurately shown by measuring the leakage current in CMOS-inverter integrated circuits, which is due to nonuniform ion current density distribution and self-bias voltage at the point of ECR plasma discharge turn-off.
Abstract: The influence of stored charge caused by changing the plasma parameter can be accurately shown by measuring the leakage current in CMOS-inverter integrated circuits. The leakage current increase is due to nonuniform ion current density distribution and self-bias voltage at the point of ECR plasma discharge turn-off. Positive charge ions are stored by the ion current density difference on a wafer. Moreover, a large voltage across the gate oxide is generated by the self-bias voltage at the point of ECR plasma discharge turn-off, and finally degrades the gate oxide.
