TL;DR: Through the traffic investigation and data analysis of an intersection in Harbin, an intersection optimization plan is proposed from the aspect of the space and time transportation design optimization and the conclusion that the new plan can improve the traffic efficiency of intersections is deduced.
Abstract: Through the traffic investigation and data analysis of an intersection in Harbin,an intersection optimization plan is proposed from the aspect of the space and time transportation design optimization,as well as the intersection′s present situation and the optimization plan are studied with VISSIM transportation simulation software. By comparing old and new plans,the conclusion that the new plan can improve the traffic efficiency of intersections is deduced.

Abstract: It studies the relationship between speed difference and crash rate,using speed and accident data of nine freeway in China. Research shows that the accident rate has obvious correlation with the dispersion of speed. According to the accident rate and speed scatter distribution,several kinds of model are fitted,The significant level of F as well as R2 are analyzed arriving at the index distribution model of accident rate and speed standard deviation. It is significant to guaranteeing the traffic safety on expressway.

Abstract: In order to grasp the change tendency of Jinan citizen travel feature,it analyzes and compares the data from 2004 and 2009 citizen travel survey in aspects of trip time,trip purpose,trip structure,trip time consumption,trip time distribution,etc.,and summarizes the change of trip feature,and the reason for it.In the end,it proposes that Jinan needs to perfect the land use structure,give priority to bus system development,integrate NMT and bus system better and improve traffic management,so as to optimize urban trip structure,promote harmonious and sustainable development of urban traffic.

Abstract: Bus signal priority at signalized intersections is an efficient and feasible approach to reduce bus delays.Through the simulation analysis,it is found that the average passenger delay is relevant with the bus arrival rate and the priority time.In order to reduce the average passenger delay,the signal-planning is improved and the simulation results demonstrate that improved signal-planning method can reduce average passenger delay significantly.

Abstract: Taxi,as a kind of transport mode,plays an influential role in the municipal transportation system. In the entire day vehicle traffic volume of urban district road,taxi' s road occupying percentages are very different in different region of Beijing City,simultaneously emptyloaded ratio is higher than the normal. Therefore,carrying on Beijing taxi passengers demand forecast is imperative. Based on analyzing Beijing taxi trip's characteristics and laws,combining with the flaws of formerly studied taxi demand model,Beijing taxi passenger demand forecast model based on trip generalized cost is proposed according to the influencing factors of taxi passengers demand. Taking Beijing Chaoyang District' s taxi passenger demand forecast as the example,the availability of the model is validated.

Abstract: The collision between vehicle and cable barrier is a very complex mechanical process,many factors impact its dynamical response.The condition of the barrier system after collision is extremely complex,such as the deformation of beams,columns and foundation as well as the deformation,trajectory and overturning of the collision vehicle with a lot of randomness.According to the force characteristics of the cable barrier,based on appropriate assumption,a simplified calculation model of collision between vehicle and cable barrier is established.The result is benefit for the design and construction of fence of expressway.

Abstract: Traffic participants' waiting tolerance is one of the factors influencing the traffic management especially in the harmonious and humanistic society which is being advocated. In order to improve the level of traffic management and guide the intelligent traffic control system construction,the investigative questionnaires about traffic participants' waiting tolerance were surveyed in 14 districts in Beijing. From the analysis of 3 000 questionnaires,the level of traffic participants' waiting tolerance were suggested,which could be a reference in signal timing.

Abstract: In order to effectively solve the problem of the site selection of public bicycle stations,firstly,it analyzes and summarizes the factors which affect the site selection of public bicycle stations,at the same time,an ISM model is established and the corresponding evaluation index system is also gained.Then,analytic hierarchy process is introduced and relevant estimation matrix is constructed to calculate the weight of each index factor.Lastly,fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is utilized to appraise the fitness of the site selection of a public bicycle station named "Desheng Community" in Hangzhou City according to membership degrees,the results of which have proved the validity and reliability of this evaluation methods system.The research can serve as scientific and reliable decision-making criteria for setting urban public bicycle station.

Abstract: Based on the similarity of the component and character of road transport system and thermodynamic system,it introduces thermodynamic principle of entropy production to describe pure speed and the density,the traffic pressure and the viscous force cause entropy production respectively.Traffic control and management quantification is treated as corporate negative entropy and also a part of the transport system total entropy.Different traffic state corresponding to the total entropy is analyzed by dissipative structure theory.It can provide reference for taking timely and effective traffic control and management of road transport system.
