TL;DR: In this paper, the authors address the evolution and importance of SMEs in the economy, the contribution of these organizations, and their contribution to the development of the world's economy.
Abstract: In a world that is marked by a fierce competition, in which the actors that are in play change the rules of the market, forcing enterprises to change the fundamentals of their competivity and their economic performance, holding technological resources has become a major strategic stake for enterprises.SMEs, the backbone of an economy, whether we are referring to the economy of a random state, or the world economy, have to answer these changes and offer competitive goods and services, adjusting the quality of the production factors to these changes. Thus, the competitiveness for SMEs is an essential condition to be able to endure. We will address in this work, aspects of evolution and the importance of SMEs in the economy, the contribution of these organizations the contribution of these organizations to the world's economy.

TL;DR: In this article, the analysis of the insolvency of Romanian trading companies in the context of the economic-financial crisis is presented, considering that bankruptcy threatens the development in good conditions of the activity of companies.
Abstract: This paper approaches an important topic in the field of insolvency, a present field, considering that bankruptcy threatens the development in good conditions of the activity of companies. Our approach concerns the analysis of the insolvency of Romanian trading companies in the context of the economic-financial crisis. Considering the current economic crisis, the problem of insolvency is very present. From an economic and financial perspective, insolvency is a reality of entrepreneurship, with a negative impact: it is conditioned and triggers inopportune and inappropriate management of the patrimony of economic units. Our aim is to perform a comparative analysis in time and space of the evaluation of the insolvency of trading companies, in order to grasp the common and specific elements in defining and presenting insolvency. In the practical part of the paper, for processing the data collected from the financial statements, we will use the SPSS software - Statistical Package for the Social Sciences. The database includes 30 insolvent companies in Romania, analyzed over a 5-year period. For a rigorous structure of the database, we will select the companies that perform their activity in several activity branches. The results of the research show the crisis that affects the analyzed Romanian companies.

TL;DR: The consumer’s purchase process is described by interpreting the AIDA Model in the context of online advergames and presents a series of elements which could be used for driving consumers through the communication funnel and to reach the final stage of the acquisition process.
Abstract: Normal 0 21 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Abstract: Marketers are continuously searching for new ways to communicate better with their public and to understand consumers’ purchasing behavior. They tried to define and explain the consumer’s purchase process by using different models and applying various strategies for improving brand communication. One of the paths followed was the use of hierarchy of effects models. This paper describes the consumer’s purchase process by using the AIDA Model and explains the four stages of the process in advergames context. Previous studies concerning advergames showed that this new communication tool can increase brand awareness, creates positive feelings toward brand and a general positive attitude which can lead to purchase intention and actual sales. This paper tries to contribute to researches about how advergames can be used efficiently by describing for each of the AIDA stages the specific elements that help advertisers to drive their public through the communication funnel and to reach the final stage of the acquisition process. /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;}

TL;DR: The purpose of this study is to treat aspects that are related to the sensitivity of data, information and knowledge transmitted through Internet of Things, helping all people interested in these new ICT technologies to become aware of some ethical issues.
Abstract: Normal 0 21 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 The purpose of this study is to treat aspects that are related to the sensitivity of data, information and knowledge transmitted through Internet of Things, helping all people interested in these new ICT technologies to become aware of some ethical issues. In this new media, which is no more in its infancy, the vulnerabilities and attacks are various, caused by technological advances and proliferated through lack of users’ awareness. This warning message is needed because of data, information and knowledge transfer from virtual to physical devices that are connected to wireless networks of different sizes and importance. The transfer is augmented by the extended use of new technologies as RFID, NFC, sensors, 3G and 4G and brings along the adjustment of the traditional information security threats to this new environment, as well as the emergence of new characteristic dangers. The problems treated here are of interest both for each of us, as individuals, and for the organizations managers – especially in a world in which the borderline between the physical and virtual life is becoming more and more difficult to draw. /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;}

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a theoretical approach to the concept of time series, its characteristics which are: variability, homogeneity, periodicity and interdependence of time-series terms, from which result the methods of estimation and analysis of each component, specific for each component.
Abstract: The paper „Stationary and Non-stationary Time Series” presents in a theoretical approach, the concept of time series, its characteristics which are: variability, homogeneity, periodicity and interdependence of time series terms, from which result the methods of estimation and analysis of time series, specific for each component (trend, periodical component-cyclical or seasonal, random component). As time series terms have or havn’t an evolution in time, it is stationary and non-stationary. In the case of stationary time series in the paper are defined the white-noise processes and the autoregressive processes. Since most processes are non-stationary by transformations we obtain stationary time series and in the paper are presented the restrictions for which an autoregresive process of moving average ARMA (p, q) is stationary. In the paper are approached also non-stationary processes by deterministic type and by stochastic type as the way to achieve stationary which mean the trend estimation and its elimination from the initial time series.
