Effect of Heart-protecting Musk Pill on Cardiac Function of Ischemic Heart Disease

Abstract: Objective:To investigate the effect of heart-protecting musk pill (HMP) on cardiac dysfunction of ischemic heart disease. Methods:79 cases of ischemic heart disease were randomly divided into the contrast group (39 cases) and the HMP group (40 cases). The contrast group was treated by angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, angiotensin II receptorantagonist and diuretics. The HMP group were treated by HMP on the base of normal therapy. Three index including EF, BNP and 6-MWT were observed before and after one treatment course of three months. Results:In the HMP group, EF was improved obviously. The distance of 6-MWT was extended and BNP reduced. The difference between the HMP group and the contrast group had significant meaning (P0.05). Conclusion:Heart-protecting musk pill is safe and effective to treat the cardiac dysfunction of ischemic heart disease.

Improvement of Anorexia and Weight Reducing in Patients with Lung Cancer by Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine

Abstract: Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Qigekaiwei decoction produced by author integrated with megestrol acetate and megestrol acetate only in improving of anorexia and weight reducing in patients with lung cancer.Methods:64 cases with 1ung cancer were randomly divided into the treatment group and the contrast group.The treatment group was treated bv Qigekaiwei decoction integrated with megestrol acetate and the contrast group by megestrol acetate only.The improvement of anorexia and weight reducing and side effects in both groups were observed and compared.Results:The improvement of anorexia and weight reducing in both groups were similar.While the side effect including heart failure,edema,blood pressure,blood sugar and constipation in the treatment group was obviously less than that in the contrast group.No significant difference was found in control of losing liver function and vascular inflammation in both groups.Conclusion:Qigekaiwei decoction integrated with megestrol acetate can increase the detoxification function in improving of anorexia and weight reducing in patients with lung cancer.

Research of Needling Quchi and Taichong Points on Treating Hypertension Patients with Different Syndrome

Abstract: Objective:To observe the effect of needling Quchi and Taichong Points on treating hypertension patients with different syndrome and the influence on blood levels of angiotension converting enzyme (ACE) and endothelin (ET), as well as to explore the mechanism of acupuncture. Methods: 80 hypertension patients were randomly divided into flaring liver-fire group (A), interior retention of phlegm dampens group (B), deficiency of Yin with excess of Yang group (C) and deficiency of both the Yin and Yang group (D) treated by acupuncture. Changes of plasma ET were determined by radio immunoassay (RIA) and serum ACE content by chemical colorimetry. Results: After one course of treatment, the effect in Group A and Group B was obviously better than that in Group C and Group D (P0.01), while Group C and Group D had also significant difference (P0.01). Contents of plasma ET in all groups were significantly decreased. The decrease degree was Group B, A, C and D in order. Contents of serum ACE in Group C, A and B had significant difference compared with those before treatment (P0.01, P0.05). Contents of serum ACE in all groups were significantly increased. The increase degree was Group A, B, C and D in order. Contents of serum ACE in Group C, A and D had significant difference compared with those before treatment (P0.01). Conclusion: Needling Quchi and Taichong points has curative effect on treating hypertension patients with all sorts of syndrome. The effects in Group A and B are better. It also shows different syndrome of hypertension has been related to serious extent of disease. Since needing Quchi and Taichong points can regulate the blood levels of ACE and ET.

Effect of Dilong on ACE Activity of Rats

Abstract: Objective:To explore the effect of Dilong on ACE activeity of rats Methods:30 Kunming rats were randomly divided into 4 groups with 10 rats each The blank group and the contrast group were injected by saline and 528mg/kg fosinopril in stomach respectively each day The low-dose Dilong group and the high-dose Dilong group were injected by 20g/kg and 40g/kg Dilong decoction respectively each day All rats were injected by 7 days The blood was taken out from the eyepit of rats and serum separated 2 hours after the last injection The activity of ACE and the thickness of blood sugar were measured according to the demonstrative note of reagents Results:Dilong could decrease the activity of ACE The decreasing degree would be improved with the increasing thickness of Dilong decoction However Dilong had no effect on the thickness of blood sugar Conclusion:Dilong has restrainable effect on activity of ACE

Effect of Scalp Acupuncture on Cerebral Blood Flow of the Rat Model with Acute Regional Cerebral Ischemia and Reperfusion Injury

Abstract: Objective:To explore the scalp acupuncture on cerebral blood flow of the rat model with acute regional cerebral ischemia and reperfusion injury.Methods:Rat models of MCAO(middle cerebral artery occlusion) and reperfusion injury were built with the middle cerebral artery occlusion technique and embolism method.All 25 cases were divided into the false operation group,model group,scalp acupuncture group and body acupuncture.The volume of cortical rCBF and the whole body viscosity were tested.Results:The cortical rCBF of all rats was obviously decreased and the whole body viscosity was obviously increased.The volume of rCBF in the cerebral cortex of the scalp acupuncture group was higher than that in the body acupuncture group, while the whole blood viscosity was lower.The difference between the scalp acupuncture group and the body acupuncture group had a significant meaning.Conclusion:Scalp acupuncture can improve the cerebral blood flow and blood rheology and thus it is effective in treating the rat model with MCAO and reperfusion injury.

Observation of Therapeutic Effect of Acupuncture on Treating Primary Dysmenorrhea

Abstract: Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture on treating primary dysmenorrhea Methods:270 cases with primary dysmenorrhea were randomly divided into the treatment group (210 cases) and the contrast group (60 cases) The contrast group was treated by Novolten and the treatment group by acupuncture The therapeutic effect of two groups after 3,6 and 12 months were observed respectively The ache integration after 3 months' treatment, the start time of acesodyne treatment, the variation of last time during the treatment were compared Results:Compared with Novolten, acupuncture had advantage on the curative effect, the start time and last time of acesodyne treatment and the improvement of ache integration Conclusion:Acupuncture has good curative effect on treating primary dysmenorrhea

Clinical Observation of Bushen Huoxue Method in Treating Infertility Induced by the Obstruction of Fallopian Tube

Abstract: Objective:To compare the effect of fallopian tube recanalization (FTR) conbined with Bushen Huoxue method and FTR method only in treating infertility induced by the obstruction of fallopian tube. Methods:Cases of infertility induced by the obstruction of fallopian tube were divided into the treatment group and the contrast group. The treatment group were treated by FTR conbined with Bushen Huoxue method and the contrast group by FTR method only. Results:The development of follicular, the thickness of endometrium and the value of blood serum estradiol E2 in the preovulatory phase of two groups after treatment were significantly improved (P0.05 or P0.01). The improvement in the treatment group was much more than that in the contrast group and there has a significant meaning. The gestation rate in the treatment is higher than that in the contrast group. There has a significant difference (P0.05). Conclusion:Fallopian tube recanalization (FTR) conbined with Bushen Huoxue method can improve the development of follicular, the thickness of endometrium and the gestation rate of infertility induced by the obstruction of fallopian tube.

Effect of Triptolide on Cytotoxicity and NO production of Activated Mouse Peritoneal Macrophage

Abstract: Objective:To study the mechanism of immune inhibition of triptolide(TP) on activated peritoneal macrophage(PEMΦ)in humane endometriosis and the effect of different dosage of TP on Cytotoxicity and NO production in different periodMethods:The activated PEMΦ induced by LPS was cultured in vitroThe cytotoxicity of MΦ was tested by MTT colorimetry and the level of NO by Griess reagentResults:TP with the dosage of 1~10 μg/ml could significantly inhibit the cytotoxicity (P00 1)and NO production of PEMΦ and had no cytotoxicity to PEMΦTP with the dosage less than 1μg/ml had no statistic meaningConclusion:TP can efficiently inhibit the cytotoxicity and NO production of activated PEMΦ,which provides experimental proof for the clinical treatment of endometriosis

Clinical Research of Scalp Acupuncture Combined with Medical Therapy for Improving Heroin De-addiction's Withdrawal Symptoms

Abstract: Objective:To compare the clinical curative effects of three methods including scalp acupuncture combined with methadone, scalp acupuncture combined with methadone and only methadone for improving heroin de-addiction's withdrawal symptoms. Methods:94 cases of heroin addicts were treated by the above three methods. The scores of withdrawal symptoms were dynamically observed for ten days. Results:The method of scalp acupuncture combined with methadone showed the best effect and the method of body acupuncture combined with methadone showed the better effect. The two methods had statistic meaning (P0.01) and the effect of acupuncture combined with methadone is better than that of only methadone (P0.01). Conclusion:At present, needle therapy is effective with no side-effect, lower cost and safety on improving heroin de-addiction's withdrawal symptoms. The combination of scalp acupuncture and methadone has a synergic function.

Clinical Research of Xiaoyutonglie Decoction on Treating Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome

Abstract: Objective:To explore the curative effect of xiaoyutonglie decoction on treating chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS) and grade of NIH-CPSI. Methods: According to the classification standard of NIH prostatitis, 186 cases with CPPS were divided into Ⅲa group and Ⅲb group by EPSRT and treated by xiaoyutonglie decoction. And NIH-CPSI scores were tested before treatment and each month after treatment. Results: The effective ratio and total effective ratio of Ilia group after three periods of treatment were 41.1% and 82.2% respectively. Those of Ⅲb group were 51.9% and 86.1% respectively. Statistical study showed the curative effect of two groups had a significant difference (P0.05). NIH-CPSI scores of two groups after each period of treatment had significant improvement (P0.001 or P0.01). WBC score of Ⅲa group were reduced significantly after the first and second period of treatment while little changed after the third period of treatment. Conclusion: Xiaoyutonglie decoction can significantly improve the clinical symptom of CPPS, improve the life quality and relieve intravenous hyperaemia in pelvis.

Research of Diagnosis Index of Tongue Inspection in Precancerous Chronic Atrophic Gastritis

Abstract: Objective:To study the indexes of tongue diagnosis in precancerous chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG).Methods:Tongue inspection of Patients with precancerous CAG were carried out including tongue proper,tongue coating,tongue shape,sublingual vena,tongue tip microcirculation,tongue coating smear,PH value of tongue surface and CEA inspection of saliva.Results:It was found that the tongue picture of patients with precancerous CAG showed dark red or purple in tongue proper,greasy fur, indented margin or crack on tongue,twist,extension or with petechiae on sublingual vena.Added macrocephalic capillary Ioops were observed in the tongue tip microcirculation with extension and blood stasis,obvious effusion,dark red blood and abnormal bloodflow pattern on their tops.Increased amount of hyperkeratosis of epidermal cells were observed on tongue coating smear,with dirty background and more white cells.The PH value of tongue surface was a little high and the CEA of saliva significantly improved.Conclusion:Each index has some character to CAG.However the comprehensive inspection has more clinical significance.
