Abstract: This study concerns the process of expanding Elementary Schools of DF, specifically regarding the six years old children‟s integration at this level of education and on teaching performance. The research was developed from the socio-cultural constructivist view that conceives the process of development and learning as bi-directional, that is, the interaction processes and co-construction of knowledge occurs in two-way subject influencing and being influenced by culture / context. Aiming to retrace assertions to reinterpretation of the new elementary school and for continuing education of teachers was conducted a microethnographic study in first year of classes in two schools, on public school‟s system of Distrito Federal, of a different nature. Two teachers and 42 children participated in the survey. Were performed: (a) immersion in the daily school, (b) observations in the classroom and in extra-class activities, (c) registration in video of interactive sequences, and (d) semi-structured interviews with teachers. The process of analysis comprised two stages, first we shall: (a) organization of data from the observations, (b) summarization of the video records, and (c) the full transcript of the interviews. The second phase consisted of deepening of the analysis and discussion of all the information from four previously defined categories, namely: (1) Educational Reorganization, (2) The Childhood as Primordial Axis (3) The Importance of Diverse Expressions of Human Development (4) Literacy. The results pointed to structural problems, to the poor training of teachers and not to mobilization of the institutions to redefine the pedagogical work. Moreover, the data showed the insecurity from the teachers regarding the content and strategies to be adopted in the third period of early childhood education in the first year of elementary school and the first grade, showed a strong process of continuity and repetition in the conduct of classes and the excessive concern of teachers and schools with the literacy.

Abstract: Este texto traz resultados de uma pesquisa de Mestrado relacionada ao desenvolvimento profissional docente articulado a producao de novos sentidos sobre a pratica pedagogica, que investigou espacos e elementos formativos que constituem o ser professor. A analise da pesquisa baseou-se nos processos de apropriacao dos significados e da producao de sentidos que envolvem a profissao docente durante a infância e a Educacao Basica. A pesquisa e do tipo estudo de caso e a base teorica assenta-se na teoria historico-cultural e em autores que tratam do desenvolvimento profissional docente. Resultados mostram que ja na infância sao produzidas marcas sobre o ser professor, as quais influenciam na escolha da profissao e servem de referencia para a praxis educativa, sendo possivel considerar esta fase como o inicio do desenvolvimento profissional

Abstract: This study, inserted in the Teaching Area, in the Educational Practices in Vocational Education research theme, and of applied nature, was conceived from the demand of inclusive educational practices for deaf students enrolled in Integrated High School Vocational Program at a Federal Institute in the southeast of Brazil, and aims at understanding how a deaf student learns a complex concept. To do so, an educational product was elaborated, implemented and evaluated focusing on teaching activities about the concept of Matrix, prioritizing the participant’s learning specificities. The research, a case study with only one participant enrolled in the Vocational Computing Program, generated data from the study of institutional documents and texts from database, interviews, learning activities and teaching procedures from a guiding theme. Data analysis indicates that if methodological teaching procedures are regularly adopted with a view to respecting the learning specificities of deaf students, added to inclusive educational resources, they will have more opportunities to learn complex concepts when inserted in non-bilingual educational contexts. However, the study warns about the need to expand the number of participants in order to corroborate, refute and/or enlarge the results of the present study.

Abstract: A disseminacao do uso da tecnologia de informacao e comunicacao, associada a necessidade de formacao dos individuos da sociedade do conhecimento, vem provocando o incremento da utilizacao da educacao a distância (EaD). A tecnologia tem permitido inovacoes relevantes na educacao e, cada vez mais, o conteudo digitalizado tem facilitado novas formas de ensino. Os materiais educacionais, nessa modalidade de ensino, crescentemente utilizam recursos multimidia e conteudos digitais para complementar e ate substituir os produtos tradicionais impressos. Os cursos oferecidos na modalidade de Educacao a Distância (EaD) possuem, como especificidade, o fato de exigirem diferentes formas para materializar suas acoes. Uma dessas formas e o trabalho em Ambientes Virtuais de Aprendizagem (AVA), que depende da integracao com algumas areas do conhecimento para existir. Dentre essas areas, destaca-se o design instrucional, que e a area responsavel por pensar e propor metodologias e tecnicas adequadas ao desenvolvimento da aprendizagem. Diante disso, essa pesquisa objetiva analisar o design instrucional de um curso a distância, buscando, no ambiente virtual de aprendizagem, elementos que contribuam para evidenciar suas potencialidades pedagogicas. Utilizando a metodologia do estudo de caso por meio de entrevistas, questionario e analise documental para coleta das informacoes entre a equipe da EaD e discentes, dando uma abordagem quali e quantitativa na analise e interpretacao dos dados.

Abstract: This paper aims at discussing some difficulties to promotechanges in the established landscape of Education. This paper is mainlydeveloped based on some experiences concerned to language teachingin undergraduate course level of a Brazilian University Center. I intendto draw a picture of such difficulties through some stories to live by,having in mind possibilities of changing on the teaching and learningprocess and also on the research language. As my aim is connected tothe idea of changing, the way I assume a narrative writing is importantto some aspects addressed throughout the paper.
