Abstract: Learning processes of Mathematics have been facing historical difficulties when the study object is an abstract issue such as Linear Function (LF). In this context, mixture approach for teaching has been adopted: Blended Learning (BL). Thus, the goal of this study is to assess problem-solving strategies concerning LF when a BL approach is applied. The methodological steps were composed by face-to-face observations, virtual observations, and questionnaire application. The research was conducted at a public school with 02 teachers and 84 students. As result, 08 learning strategies were identified, and it was possible to observe evidences of the effectiveness of the BL when it was adopted in the described context.

Abstract: O presente trabalho tem por objetivos elaborar e aplicar um metodo que possa investigar aspectos comportamentais, necessidades, tipologia (atitude e funcao predominante) de empreendedores e nao-empreendedores; realizar revisao bibliografica sobre conceitos de desenvolvimento, maturacao, aprendizagem e personalidade; e verificar a influencia dos aspectos vocacionais na estruturacao do comportamento empreendedor. Este estudo e em essencia uma pesquisa qualitativa e exploratoria, que partiu do seguinte problema: “como investigar os fatores motivacionais e de aprendizagem que caracterizam o comportamento de empreendedores e nao empreendedores”? Com o intuito de verificar a eficacia do metodo proposto (inventario, genograma das profissoes e entrevista), foram analisadas historias de vida (estudos de caso) de onze sujeitos, provenientes das regioes sul e nordeste, durante o periodo de marco de 2003 a marco de 2004. Conclui-se, atraves desta pesquisa, que o metodo e eficaz; e que uma conjugacao positiva de fatores (pessoais, ambientais e aleatorios) atuam para a configuracao do comportamento empreendedor. Neste sentido, a capacidade de empreender pode ser influenciada pela quantidade e qualidade dos estimulos e experiencias vivenciadas, sobretudo na infância e adolescencia (dentro das familias parental, social e cultural) e por aspectos historicos, situacao geopolitica e economica do pais e do mundo.

Abstract: As transformacoes culturais intensas das ultimas decadas abalaram as representacoes tradicionais de genero, provocando inseguranca e confusao por parte dos homens e produzindo novas configuracoes de masculinidade no contexto contemporâneo. Nesse cenario social, podemos nos indagar como as criancas, em especial, tem sido impactadas. Para investigar tal problema, foi realizada uma revisao critica das transformacoes historicas da masculinidade e uma investigacao empirica conduzida com criancas e adultos, tendo como base a epistemologia qualitativa e a perspectiva historico-cultural. A pesquisa demonstrou que os meninos vivem em um contexto social marcado pela carencia de modelos concretos de identificacao, empobrecimento das representacoes sociais moralmente positivas de masculinidade, desaparecimento dos codigos de honra e ausencia de projetos de vida. Esses indicadores sugerem que ha uma lacuna moral na formacao dos meninos, caracterizada pela ausencia de parâmetros eticos de educacao que tornam as criancas mais vulneraveis a influencia dos padroes midiaticos dominantes de masculinidade.

Abstract: This study presents comparative reflection results of factors that undergraduates and school students find essential and important for the good teacher. We believe that processes of teaching and learning go beyond the expertise of faculty. Such processes impose the establishment of non-cognitive order interactions, which can be affective, motivational or developed through dialogues between theparticipants. Therefore, we present and discuss issues related to skills and knowledge needed to develop an education that promotes conditions for a real learning. The research methodology consisted of questionnaires given to those graduated on Chemistry, Physics and Biological Sciences courses and the Basic Education students. The results indicate that, beyond the knowledge of those who teach, affection, dialogue and motivation are essential for the development of teaching practice and the establishment of the professional teacher.

Abstract: We present a proposal for research, development and construction of international communities in Portuguese using digital platforms. The idea was born following an international conference on distance teaching and learning, in which a meeting on 'E-learning and Portuguese-language culture' was promoted. The established contacts gave place to a new project to stimulate learning communities via the internet. Currently, the countries involved are Portugal, Brazil and Mozambique, but in a near future other Portuguese-speaking communities will be able to participate. The theoretical framework is provided by Vigotsky's ideas on learning contexts.
