Abstract: O texto apresenta e discute resultados parciais de uma pesquisa realizada na rede municipal de Educacao da cidade de Catalao, que teve como objetivo conhecer o processo de municipalizacao da Educacao Infantil. Sao apresentados dados que explicitam desde o numero de criancas atendidas por aquela rede, periodos de atendimento, ate os indicadores do nivel de formacao e especializacao dos professores que trabalham com as criancas menores de seis anos de idade. Os resultados revelam um processo que mesmo ja tendo concretizado algumas mudancas legais, precisa ainda dar respostas as demandas de acesso, bem como favorecer a qualificacao dos profissionais que em sua maioria, segundo os dados da referida pesquisa, nao possuem formacao adequada para desenvolver a funcao docente na Educacao Infantil.

Abstract: This Report is the pedagogical intervention of three semesters of internship in valences Pre-school and 1.o Cycle of Basic Education. This document is referenced the surroundings of the institution, the characteristics of the educational establishment, the room and the children, the intervention methods used in practice and a final reflection for each of the components of the stage. The Pre-school stage have a group consisted of 15 children aged between four and five years. And the group of students from the stage 1.o Cycle of Basic Education was composed of 12 students, 2.o grade education, aged seven and eight. The activities undertaken in the valence Pre-school mainly focused on learning the Portuguese language, Field of Oral Language and Approach to Writing, as we observed an opportunity to develop this field in the specific group of children that were inserted. In component of 1.o Cycle of Basic Education work focused on the area of the Portuguese, the Written Production.
