Abstract: In this article, we aim to discuss the notion of literacy and the theoreticalmethodological conceptions that anchor the work with the text, underlying the Portuguese language test that constitutes part of the assessment exam to the Federal University of Parana. The research was anchored in the studies of the area of Applied Linguistics, especially in the studies of literacy developed by Street (1984) and Barton (1994); in the studies of the Circle of Bakhtin about the socio-historical-ideological nature of language and its dialogic reality, about text seen as utterance and utterance seen as the unit of communication and about speech genres; in the studies of Textual Linguistics and in the reflections of Geraldi (2002) concerning the practice of reading and writing. The research data were composed mainly by the Portuguese language test of eight assessment exams to the mentioned university (2002 to 2009) and by the candidate manual/guides corresponding to the same selection processes. The research pointed out the remarkable positive valuation given to the practices involving the use of language, taking as contents of analysis, the practice of reading and textual production

This paper addresses the security, pollution and food handling, since man lives in constant change, and always seeks new and is also always in constant transformation. Thus, justified the choice of this theme, by its relevance since the first basic need for the survival of man is food that should be safe and of good quality. Abstract: This study focuses on a process of shared reflection between researchers and science teachers. We investigated how in this process, conceptual change about the role of the science teacher in the mediation of scientific knowledge in school context occurred. For this, the discussions between sub- jects were observed, audio recorded and transcribed. The data were interpreted according to a theory and methodology based on the historical-cultural development of human beings, adopting the micro- genetic analysis to investigate the process of this shared reflection. The results show that certain aspects characterize the conceptual development of teachers, especially as regards their role in arous- ing the interest of the students in learning the content and in the construction of meaningful content for students.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate how study is being accomplished in contemporaneity and propose to analyze the issue from notions of practices of study, with the support of constructivist approaches of cognition such as those by J. Piaget, L.Vygotski, F. Varela and H. Maturana.
Abstract: This paper aims at investigating how study is being accomplished in contemporaneity. It follows two main paths: Initially, it operates an inflection in the study field of studies. Instead of conceiving study as an objective and naturalized entity, it proposes to analyze the issue from notions of practices of study, with the support of constructivist approaches of cognition such as those by J. Piaget, L.Vygotski, F. Varela and H. Maturana, as well as the work of M. Foucault and R. Chartier. The study becomes the result of concrete actions of students, instead of being conceived as an allegedly invariant mental activity aiming at knowledge acquisition. Secondly, it presents and discusses a field research in which fifteen psychology students were interviewed. The interviewees belong to four different institutions from the city of Rio de Janeiro, two public and two private, where they were between the 1 st and 9 th semesters. Interviews were carried out following the explanation technique. The conclusion points out the importance of the use of internet-computer in contemporary study practices, and analyzes some of its effects, such as the great amount of information, the study in circulation, the fragmentation and composition of parts, and the coexistence of study with the digital and printed texts.
