TL;DR: In this article, a professora no Ensino de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) em uma escola publica in Portugal created a blog for complementing as aulas de Lingua Portuguesa.

Abstract: Practices of Selection and Organization of Knowledge in Regular and Special Schools. This paper analyzes the teaching practices of selection and organization of knowledge in regular and special schools, particularly those dedicated to teaching students with a history of mental disability, and seeks to support the teaching practice in the selection and organization of the curricular contents, improving the ability of these students to construct concepts, based on historical and cultural premises. The research involved educators of students with a history of mental disability, from regular and special schools in the Vale do Itajai region, SC. Teaching-learning situations were analyzed, and meetings held with the subjects involved, to discuss the material collected and offer methodological recommendations to guide the process of conceptual design to be triggered. These students have been excluded from the educational process, due to teaching practices and curricular organizations which hinder and/or impoverish their processes of constructing concepts, and contribute to a negative view of their abilities. The research in question seeks to offer new possibilities for the teaching-learning process of people with a history of mental disability, rethinking the processes of selecting and organizing knowledge.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe and discuss the work performed at the speech therapy workshops held by the "Mais Educação" (More Education) program at a school run by the city administration in Campinas, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil.
Abstract: In this article, we describe and discuss the work performed at the speech therapy workshops held by the “Mais Educação” (“More Education”) program at a school run by the city administration in Campinas, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The work was done through group activities at the language workshops, for a year. Thirty children, aged 7 to 12, were referred by their teachers for their speech and/or writing disorders. The language activities were not held during training sessions, but in real dialogic activities, where every child was able to position his or herself as the subject of the enunciative process, in the search of a new way of speaking and/or writing. The workshops resulted in acquisition of phonemes, increased phonological awareness, proper orthography and improved text production. The work also contributed to an improved school performance by the participating pupils.

Started from the assumption that the use of technological resources, such as blogging, with strictly educational purposes, can extend the knowledge beyond the walls of the classroom, thus creating a dialogic and interactive environment. Using data collected through interviews, questionnaires and observation, we seek to understand the object of study as a supportive environment for the teaching of a subject, raising some theoretical and methodological questions about its application to educational practice, and possible contributions to the construction of knowledge. The results indicate that there are several capabilities that make the blog a space conducive to teaching and learning process, and relates the concepts of the study participants about their use, highlighting the most important places to be solved, so that teachers and students to take ownership of knowledge necessary for capacity building required by the contemporary social context, due to the advancement of science and technology. TL;DR: It is concluded that the PBL is, in fact, perceived as a more current and innovative method by students.
Abstract: Problem-based learning (PBL) is a teaching method that encourages the student ́s proactivity to reason, in order to seek solutions to the problem in question. This article aims to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of using the PBL method for top level students in business areas. In order to meet the objective, a questionnaire was prepared from the literature studied and sent to 375 students, with a return rate of 19%. The main results show that 74% of the respondents consider that the practical classes contribute to the memorization of the content, 93% of the respondents consider it an opportunity for personal and social formation, besides promoting the sharing of knowledge and improvement in decisionmaking. It also found that 83% feel more protagonists in the PBL method and more than 81% feel more engaged in their own learning. As a result, it was possible to identify a favorable perception of the learning method that leads and engages the student. This research also allows us to conclude that the PBL is, in fact, perceived as a more current and innovative method by students.
