Abstract: Over the past few years there has been a renewed interest by governments, companies and academics in the role of entrepreneurship in innovation and economic growth. There has also been a proliferation of studies on education for entrepreneurship in industrialised and developing countries. However, by addressing ‘entrepreneurship’ in terms of SMEs and high-tech start-ups, they overlook: (i) the blurring distinctions between entrepreneurial and managerial capitalism, (ii) an erosion of the Schumpeterian dichotomy between large and small firms, and (iii) the growing importance of entrepreneurial management within companies as a source for economic growth. Additionally, ‘entrepreneurship’ tends to be taught as a stand-alone topic in higher education and business/non-business courses. Empirical studies related to entrepreneurship education within primary schools, especially in least developed locations in developing countries, are largely missing in this field. Drawing on first-hand empirical evidence from primary schools in a developing area in South America, this paper examines the incidence and functioning of pedagogic practices potentially related to the initial formation of entrepreneurial mindsets. The findings show that, despite some efforts, the researched schools suffered from, not surprisingly, inadequate physical conditions and, most importantly, teachers’ unawareness and deficient qualification related to the adoption of these techniques. These problems seemed to prevent children from developing important features of their initial entrepreneurial mindsets. Thus, if companies and countries want to secure their sources of revolutionary ideas and continuous and des-continuous innovation, they need to have a long-term commitment to continuously develop and nurture the seeds for their future innovative knowledge bases. Specifically, a comprehensive, long-term, geographically and socially inclusive perspective on entrepreneurship education, that is, from primary school levels, especially in least developed areas, is badly needed to improve our understanding and policy recommendations in this field. Otherwise, all the discussions in favour of entrepreneurship education will not evolve beyond hype and rhetoric.

Abstract: Resumo: O presente trabalho apresenta uma analise das interacoes discursivas de nove estudantes do curso de licenciatura em fisica em uma atividade didatica mediada por um interferometro virtual de Mach-Zehnder. O objetivo desse estudo e analisar as tensoes nos enunciados dos alunos a luz do referencial sociocultural e avaliar em que medida os significados em fisica quântica sao criados e desenvolvidos em sala de aula por meio do uso da linguagem e de instrumentos semioticos. Os resultados de nossa analise mostram que: (a) em atividades colaborativas com outros colegas, um dos alunos sempre assume a funcao do parceiro mais capaz; (b) as acoes explicativas dos parceiros mais capazes geralmente contem tracos de fala egocentrica; (c) alguns debates entre os alunos sao marcados por um processo analogo ao fenomeno da cognicao socialmente distribuida; (d) alguns enunciados constituem generos do discurso de situacoes tipicas de instrucao de fisica quântica; (e) as acoes mediadas pelo uso do interferometro virtual atuaram, na maior parte das vezes, na zona de desenvolvimento proximal, viabilizando a construcao e a negociacao de novos significados. Abstract: As emocoes sao uma tematica bastante suscitada atualmente em pesquisas e estudos cientificos na area de psicologia e outros saberes. Para tanto, a presente investigacao teve por objetivo problematizar de forma diferenciada e aprofundada o estudo das emocoes a partir dos pressupostos e conceitos teoricos na psicologia historico-cultural, na psicologia social critica e na filosofia. Ao longo do texto, apresentaremos a concepcao de Espinosa e Descartes sobre o monismo e o dualismo na relacao entre mente e corpo. Destacam-se tambem alguns criticos posteriores que estudaram esta tematica como Vygotsky, na psicologia historico cultural; Teixeira, na filosofia da mente e o Damasio, na neurociencia. Desta forma, elaboramos uma discussao no cenario interdisciplinar contemporâneo entre a Filosofia e a Psicologia Social Critica, na tentativa de superar as dicotomias entre o intelectivo e o afetivo, mente e corpo, subjetivo e objetivo, entre outros. Por meio de estudos teoricos, foi interessante analisar e aprofundar o estudo sobre as emocoes nestas concepcoes investigadas e tambem foi possivel relacionalas. Desta forma, percebemos na literatura referencias que indicam as emocoes como mobilizadoras do compromisso social e do engajamento em praxis de transformacao positiva da realidade, ou seja, foi observado que as acoes transformadoras sao embasadas por fortes manifestacoes emocionais.

Abstract: Some problems related to software process and project management improvement programs are detected during their implementation. Companies from the software projects segment have difficulty dealing with software Project management and quality models (CMMI, MPS-BR and PM-BOK) since the ways to implement the key areas of the process and the good practices inherent to Project management are interpreted with difficulty. This can be attested by the analysis of CMMI and CHAOS reports. In order to minimize the difficulties detected by the reports, the aim of this paper is to apply Mindstorms to the teaching and learning of software process and project management (key concepts used during process improvement and implementation). To validate the efficacy of the technique introduced in this paper, 8 experiments were carried out including university, high school courses and companies from the software production sector. Experimental results attest that the process of knowledge transfer in process and management using Mindstorms led to greater motivation, satisfaction and concepts consolidation.

Pretende-se com este instrumento ampliar as possibilidades de conotacao qualitativa a ser dada a avaliacao em educacao a distância.
