TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that all meson-baryon and mesonmeson terms which can be extracted from experiment can be reconciled with the (3, \ifmmode\bar\else\textasciimacron\fi{}3) chiral symmetry-breaking scheme.
Abstract: It is shown that all meson-baryon and meson-meson $\ensuremath{\sigma}$ terms which can be extracted from experiment can be reconciled with the (3, \ifmmode\bar\else\textasciimacron\fi{}3) chiral-symmetry-breaking scheme, ${H}^{\ensuremath{'}}={u}_{0}+{\mathrm{cu}}_{8}$, provided that $c$ assumes the value $c\ensuremath{\sim}\ensuremath{-}1.0$.

TL;DR: In this article, a mass relation for pseudoscalar mesons is obtained in a broken-chiral SU(4) -symmetry scheme, where an interesting property of the chimeral SU (4) group and the Goldstone nature of some of the pseudo-calars in certain symmetry limits are exploited for the derivation of the relation.
