Abstract
This chapter presents a robust and secure framework for multimedia security using digital watermarking. In the proposed scheme, a cover image is transformed into frequency domain based on all phase discrete bi-orthogonal transform (APDBT) followed by singular value decomposition. A gray-scale watermark is then embedded by modifying the singular values. For watermark extraction, a new procedure based on dynamic stochastic resonance (DSR) is employed. The proposed DSR based extraction effectively utilizes the noise introduced during the attacks to enhance the robustness and authenticity of the watermark. A detailed experimental analysis is finally conducted to demonstrate the robustness and efficiency of the proposed scheme against a variety of attacks.

HEVC Transform and Quantization

TL;DR: HEVC specifies two-dimensional transforms of various sizes from 4 × 4 to 32 × 32 that are finite precision approximations to the discrete cosine transform (DCT) and also supports frequency-dependent quantization by using quantization matrices for all transform block sizes.

SPIHT‐based multiple image watermarking in NSCT domain

TL;DR: A multiple watermarking technique using combination of redundant discrete wavelet transforms (RDWT), non‐subsampled contourlet transform (NSCT), set partitioning in hierarchical tree (SPIHT), and singular value decomposition (SVD) is proposed to achieve high capacity, robustness, and imperceptibility.

The all phase DFT filter

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a concept of all phase data space, and based on the DFT/IDFT filtering, a new type of zero-phase filter, called the all phase DFT (APDFT) filter is proposed.

A New Measure of Watermarking Security: The Effective Key Length

TL;DR: A new measure of watermarking security, called the effective key length, which captures the difficulty for the adversary to get access to theWatermarking channel and shows that ISS offers a better security than CASS for a given robustness.

A Novel Watermarking Scheme Based on Stochastic Resonance

TL;DR: A Novel watermarking scheme based on stochastic resonance (SR) is introduced, and the median-frequency DCT components of all the 8times8 image blocks are randomly permuted to be an approximate white Gaussian noise.
