TLDR
A brief overview of current metrics used for the assessment of exposure to RF-EMFs is given in this paper, along with a discussion of the potential risks associated with human exposure to electromagnetic fields.Abstract:
With the arrival of new, more powerful radiofrequency (RF) energy sources, the potential risks associated with human exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF) also increased. This brought the necessity of developing appropriate security regulations, as well as standardized measurement and exposure evaluation techniques. This paper gives a brief overview of current metrics used for the assessment of exposure to RF-EMFs.read more

TL;DR: In this paper , two models of patch antenna arrays operating at 3.7 GHz with varying beam forming and beam steering capabilities were considered for an analysis of the specific absorption rate of electromagnetic energy deposition in tissues of a head model.
Public Exposure to RF from Installed Sources: Site Measurement and Personal Exposimetry
György Thuróczy,Ferenc Molnár,Judit Szabó,Gábor Jánossy,Noémi Nagy,Györgyi Kubinyi,József Bakos +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the RF exposure at the location accessible to public with site measurements and the exposure to RF with personal dosimeter, and the results from personal exposure showed that one third of the participants spent 40¿70 % percent of 24h recording time above the detection limits (0.05 V/m) and half of subjects spent less than 10 %.

TL;DR: In this paper, the induced and contact current limits of IEEE C95.1-1991 are modified in this edition, and field strengths below which induced and current do not have to be measured are specified, spatial averaging and measurement distance requirements are clarified, and more precise definitions for averaging volume and radiated power are provided.

TL;DR: There was little evidence for differential recall errors overall or in recent time periods, however, apparent overestimation by cases in more distant time periods could cause positive bias in estimates of disease risk associated with mobile phone use.

Characterization of personal RF electromagnetic field exposure and actual absorption for the general public.
TL;DR: The methodology of this paper enables epidemiological studies to make an analysis in combination with both electric field and actual whole-body SAR values and to compare exposure with basic restrictions.
