An Overview on Smart Maintenance Service Scheduling System and Theoretical Basis for Agricultural Machinery

Abstract: Current maintenance service system pays more attention to process management, causing low efficiency and passive behavior to cope with the dynamic and uncertain demands. To improve the system ability on decision support, we study the theoretical basis and the operation mechanism of each module and develop a smart scheduling system for maintenance service provider. This study improves the service capability and efficiency for providers, and makes some contributions on the theories of service network, service recourse allocation and scheduling, knowledge management and failure prediction in the field of maintenance service. This paper gives a systematically overview of the smart maintenance service scheduling system and its key technologies.

Abstract: The introduction of a consortium blockchain-based agricultural machinery scheduling system will help improve the transparency and efficiency of the data flow within the sector. Currently, the traditional agricultural machinery centralized scheduling systems suffer when there is a failure of the single point control system, and it also comes with high cost managing with little transparency, not leaving out the wastage of resources. This paper proposes a consortium blockchain-based agricultural machinery scheduling system for solving the problems of single point of failure, high-cost, low transparency, and waste of resources. The consortium blockchain-based system eliminates the central server in the traditional way, optimizes the matching function and scheduling algorithm in the smart contract, and improves the scheduling efficiency. The data in the system can be traced, which increases transparency and improves the efficiency of decision-making in the process of scheduling. In addition, this system adopts a crowdsourcing scheduling mode, making full use of idle agricultural machinery in the society, which can effectively solve the problem of resource waste. Then, the proposed system implements authentication access mechanisms, and allows only authorized users into the system. It includes transactions based on digital currency and eliminates third-party platform to charge service fees. Moreover, participating organizations have the opportunity to obtain benefits and reduce transaction costs. Finally, the upper layers supervision improves the efficiency and security of consensus algorithm, allows supervisors to block users with malicious motives, and always ensures system security.

Abstract: In view of the common issue of product-mix resource allocation decision under limited manufacturing resource, this article proposes a new approach based on game theory. Firstly, a quantification method is applied to represent the utility of manufacturing resource and strategy profile, and then a multi-dimension game model is presented using these quantified manufacturing data as element of game theory. By solving the game model, the Nash equilibrium solution is regarded as optimal resource allocation strategy. The goal of the solution is to maximize the individual profit of each product. The desired equilibrium will meet the requirements for resource by the greatest degree to make each product achieve optimal production status, simultaneously the enterprise will get higher rate of return on investment.

Knowledge is recognized as a durable strategic resource to obtain sustainable competitive advantage. Design/methodology/approach – The paper proposes a theoretical framework integrating an analytic network process (ANP) with a balanced scorecard (BSC) to measure the performance of knowledge resources under value perspective. Four indicators and three knowledge value (KV) components including labor value, technology value and utilization value are discussed. Abstract: To solve the reusing and sharing problems of fault knowledge which is short of fault knowledge base, research of knowledge representation and knowledge discovery method of agricultural machinery with the maintenance support to knowledge discovery and reuse purpose was carried out. With Chinese segmentation tools, information extraction technologies of Chinese fields in agricultural machinery fault data were studied. Research of data mining technology about mining implicit relevance information from fault data for founding of agricultural fault knowledge base by association rules algorithm was studied. This method was proved feasible to build agricultural machinery maintenance fault knowledge base by dealing with the real data.
