A re-assessment of relationships within epacridaceae
Jocelyn M. Powell,Darren M. Crayn,Paul A. Gadek,Christopher J. Quinn,David A. Morrison,A. R. Chapman +5 more
TL;DR: A phylogenetic analysis was undertaken to establish broad relationships within the family Epacridaceae as a basis for a re-assessment of the supra-generic classification, which is weakly resolved and lacks robustness in the basal clades.
Journal ArticleDOI
The influence of hybridization on epidermal properties of birch species and the consequences for palaeoclimatic interpretations
TL;DR: Epidermal analysis shows that a possible occurrence of hybrids in fossil leaf assemblages has no profound consequences for combined species records, and palynological as well as macrofossil analysis provide some evidence for the occurrence of birch hybrids during these intervals.
Journal ArticleDOI
Resin Production and Glandular Hairs in Beyeria viscosa (Labill.) Miq. (Euphorbiaceae)
Bernard Dell,Arthur J. McComb +1 more
TL;DR: No significant changes take place in the chemistry of the secreted components of Beyeria viscosa as the leaves mature, as seen by thin-layer chromatography.
Journal ArticleDOI
Late middle Eocene fossil wood of Myanmar: Implications for the landscape and the climate of the Eocene Bengal Bay
Alexis Licht,Alexis Licht,Alexis Licht,Anaïs Boura,Dario De Franceschi,Torsten Utescher,Chit Sein,Jean-Jacques Jaeger +7 more
