Abstract: Agriculture is the foundation of China’s national economy and plays an important role in the development of national economy. China’s agriculture occurred in the Neolithic Age, and with the development of social economy, China’s agriculture from primitive agriculture, experienced traditional agriculture, and then slowly developed to today’s modern agriculture. However, modern agriculture not only improves labor productivity and crop yield, but also brings serious ecological crisis and environmental pollution. Therefore, the new model of agricultural development ecological agriculture came into being. As an important element of ecological agriculture, biodiversity is of great ecological significance to the sustainable development of ecological agriculture. This article mainly expounds the development of ecological agriculture, the application of biodiversity in ecological agriculture, the loss of biodiversity and the protection countermeasures.

Abstract: The "Pig-Raising,Methane-Generating and Fruit-Growing" eco-agricultural system is a pattern of recycling economy.The system structure and work mechanism are analyzed and results of scientific experiment are summarized for the development of recycling economy in this paper.The system integrates a series of complex biological and chemical reactive process based on the methane-generating.This leads to simultaneous accomplishment of upgrading structural hierarchy for traditional cultivation pattern,making full use of material in multiple hierarchies,making effective conversion of energy,and bringing economic,social and ecological benefits.Some 103.87 million methanegenerating pits and 250 big methane-generating projects have been constructed in Jiangxi Province.Because firewood gathering has been replaced by methane,more than 6×106 m3 of woods are saved every year,and 74×103 ha of forest has been projected.The residues in methane-generating can be returned to farmland,so that fertilizer use efficiency increased by 20% in contrast to the traditional pattern and the soil quality can be improved,for example the organic materials increased by three times and the dissolve nitrogen increased by more than one times.The "Pig-Raising,Methane-Generating and Fruit-Growing" eco-agricultural system has been widely used in tackling small catchment in a comprehensive way,reducing environmental pollution by area source in rural areas,predicting the pollution-free foods and controlling schistosomiais.The results of the theoretical research and scientific experiment show that development of recycling economy should maintain the direction in the theory and methodology of the system science,take the motive force of science and technology as a guidence and laws and policies as a support.

Abstract: Biodiversity is the sum total of all life on earth and encompasses genetic diversity, species diversity and ecosystem diversity. Among these three levels of diversity, species diversity reflects not only the relationship between life and the environment, but also the richness of biological resources. The main goal of biodiversity conservation is thought to be the protection of species. Animals play an important role in the processes of material cycling and energy flow in ecosystems through the use of intricate food chains and webs. Thus species diversity, especially animal diversity, directly affects the functioning of ecosystems. However, as a result of the sustained increase in the worlds human population and the rapid development of economic globalization, human society has heavily affected the worlds biodiversity and caused a series of ecological consequences such as habitat loss and fragmentation, pollution, and climate change. These changes have seriously threatened the survival of many species on Earth. In this paper, we reviewed advancements in the research related to this ongoing loss of biodiversity over the past ten years by focusing on the influences of human activities on biodiversity and analyzing the primary drivers, characteristics and impacts of this loss in biodiversity. We also introduce some new biodiversity research methods and raise some important scientific questions that address the future of biodiversity research.

Abstract: There are plentiful rarespecies,habitats and gene resources distributing in Chinese agricultural regions,which are key points in conservation of agricultural biodiversity,many of the species or habitats have their specialities.The species and their distribution extension are shrinking or disapearing due to agriculturally over utilization or destruction.The Goverment has taken a series of countermeasures for biodiversity conservation especially since the reformation and a“open door”policy began to enforce.The countermeasures include conservation in -situ and ex-situ,conservation planning,hegislation,establishment of institution systems,as well as education and training.The obvious effects are realized in conservation and sustainable utilization of biodiversity in agriculture.
