Trade, money and employment in intertemporal optimizing models of growth
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that free international trade leads to an increase of the de facto elasticity of substitution between the domestic factors of production, and that such an increase in the elasticity influences the steady state and the speed of convergence.

Estimation of the value of the marginal product of emission in a country where emissions output is regulated — an empirical study
TL;DR: In this paper, an approach to evaluate the returns of these kind of services as a production factor is presented. But this approach is limited to the case of the elimination and disposal services of the ecological system.

Axiomatic foundations for fairness-motivated preferences
TL;DR: This paper proposes axiomatic foundations for individual fairness-motivated preferences that cover most of the models developed to rationalise observed behaviour in experiments and proposes a simple functional form in which the weight on each person’s payoff depends on a reference vector of how much each person deserves.

Assessing policies to equalize opportunity using an equilibrium model of educational and occupational choices
TL;DR: The authors analyzed the impact of college attendance bonus schemes designed to increase college attendance rates (and PV of lifetime income) of youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, and found that very large college attendance bonuses are necessary to equate college attendance rate between youth whose parents had only high school degrees or were high school dropouts and youth who parents attended at least some college.

Technical change and the aggregate production function
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method to improve the performance of the system by using the information of the user's interaction with the system and the system itself, including the interaction between the two parties.

Resource and output trends in the United States since 1870
TL;DR: In this paper, a very brief treatment of three questions relating to the history of our economic growth since the Civil War is given, namely: (1) How large has been the net increase of aggregate output per capita, and to what extent has this increase been obtained as a result of greater labor or capital input on the one hand and of a rise in productivity on the other? (2) Is there evidence of retardation, or conceivably acceleration, in the growth of per capita output? (3) Have there been fluctuations in the rate of growth of output, apart
