TL;DR: In this article, a transition metal hexacyanometallate (TMHCM)-conductive polymer (CP) composite electrode is provided, where the battery electrode is made up of a current collector and a Transition Metal Hexacyanometric-conductive (TMSC) polymer composite overlying the current collector.
Abstract: A transition metal hexacyanometallate (TMHCM)-conductive polymer (CP) composite electrode is provided. The battery electrode is made up of a current collector and a transition metal hexacyanometallate-conductive polymer composite overlying the current collector. The transition metal hexacyanometallate-conductive polymer includes a A X M1 Y M2 Z (CN) N .M H 2 O material, where A may be alkali metal ions, alkaline earth metal ions, ammonium ions, or combinations thereof, and M1 and M2 are transition metal ions. The transition metal hexacyanometallate-conductive polymer composite also includes a conductive polymer material. In one aspect, the conductive polymer material is polyaniline (PANI) or polypyrrole (Ppy). Also presented herein are methods for the fabrication of a TMHCM-CP composite.

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of methylene blue dye on photocurrents was studied in the solid-state photoelectrochemical cells fabricated using conducting polypyrrole-coated electrodes sandwiched with solid polymer electrolyte, namely, polyvinylpyrrolidone with phosphoric acid.
Abstract: The effect of small concentration of methylene blue dye on photocurrents was studied in the solid-state photoelectrochemical cells fabricated using conducting polypyrrole-coated electrodes sandwiched with solid-polymer electrolyte, namely, polyvinylpyrrolidone with phosphoric acid A maximum photosensitivity factor (S=I l/I d, where I l is the photocurrent and I d is the dark current) of the order of 5 is observed The current–voltage (I–V) characteristics in such cells reveal that charge transport is mainly governed by the space charge effect Comparison of the results presented in this paper with the ones we reported earlier [23] indicates that the matrix in which dye has been incorporated plays an important role in such sensitization processes A matrix that can efficiently transport the photogenerated charge carriers is observed to be more suitable for such dye-sensitized devices

TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported the correlation between the oxidation states and the NLO absorption of the Prussian blue (PB) and showed that the voltage-dependent optical nonlinearity is associated with the changes in the ratio of the number of high energy states to that of low energy states under different voltages.
Abstract: Research concerning the third-order nonlinear optical (NLO) performance of Prussian blue (PB) is rare. Here, we report the correlation between the oxidation states and the NLO absorption of the PB. Pristine PB exhibits obvious saturable absorption associated with the state-filling effect. The optical nonlinearity can be modulated among various reduction states via external voltage. The voltage-dependent optical nonlinearity is associated with the changes in the ratio of the number of high-energy states to that of low-energy states under different voltages.

TL;DR: In this article, a stable organic electroluminescent devices based on vapor-deposited Alq thin films have been achieved, which are derived from several factors including: (1) a multilayer thin-film structure with a CuPc stabilized hole-injection contact, (2) a hole-transport diamine layer using a naphthyl substituted benzidine derivative, and (3) an ac drive wave form.
Abstract: Highly stable organic electroluminescent devices based on vapor‐deposited Alq thin films have been achieved. The improvement in stability is derived from several factors including: (1) a multilayer thin‐film structure with a CuPc stabilized hole‐injection contact, (2) a hole‐transport diamine layer using a naphthyl‐substituted benzidine derivative, and (3) an ac drive wave form. These emissive devices have shown an operational half‐lifetime of about 4000 h from an initial luminance of 510 cd/m2.
