This paper throws light on renowned strategies used for sensor deployment as well as comparision of sensor deployment algorithms in order to improve the results of existing deployment techniques.Abstract:
WMSNs are extensively used in various fields such as environmental monitoring, survellience, national security and health care. Wireless networks are composed of sensor nodes having capability of sensing environmental conditions, sink node and connected via internet to remote controller. Maximun coverage is one of the basic objective of WMSNs. So the current document presents review as well as comparision of sensor deployment algorithms. It considers the various performance metrics such as time, conserved energy and distance travelled. This paper throws light on renowned strategies used for sensor deployment. So this study ends up with suitable future scope in order to improve the results of existing deployment techniques.read more
