TL;DR: The Systematization of Experiences as mentioned in this paper is an invitation to move together towards the construction of creative, expressive and nutritious spaces of reflection-action through a determined strategy, which is called research, and it has real powers to generate situated knowledge, revealing knowledge that germinates in the daily relations of social praxis.
Abstract: This article is an invitation to move together towards the construction of creative, expressive and nutritious spaces of reflection-action through a determined strategy: The Systematization of Experiences. We have added the label of research to the name of this strategy because we want to position it as an opportunity to build theoretical-practical articulation, with real powers to generate situated knowledge, revealing knowledge that germinates in the daily relations of social praxis. In the text, we review how, from a position of subalternity (the dance of those who abound), we battle to configure new scenarios and possibilities where systematization can play interesting roles. We intend to provoke in everyone involved in the field of Social Work the desire to continue searching, to not stop exploring alternatives that will free us, to become governed, technicians and users. We also share an experience, an incipient proposal of Systematization that is allowing us to break some of the barriers in the formation of the profession and in the way we relate to the processes of pre-professional practices.

TL;DR: In this article , a study of the use of prácticas narrativas (PNs) in the context of psicosocial intervention with infancia and adolescencia in Chile is presented.

TL;DR: In this article , a revisión sistemática focalizada en los puntos de vista of los/as profesionales acerca de las políticas sociales chilenas, their labor como interventores/as and/or que representan líneas transformadoras for una disrupción radical.

TL;DR: Researchers have identified significant methodological limitations in the extant research literature that impede the making of recommendations for implementing existing therapeutic programmes unreservedly in child sexual abuse services.
Abstract: This paper reviews the literature on the nature and incidence of child sexual abuse, explores the link between child sexual abuse and later sexual exploitation, and reviews the literature on prevention strategies and effective interventions in child sexual abuse services. Our understanding of the international epidemiology of child sexual abuse is considerably greater than it was just 10 years ago, and studies from around the world are examined. Childhood sexual abuse can involve a wide number of psychological sequelae, including low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Numerous studies have noted that child sexual abuse victims are vulnerable to later sexual revictimization, as well as the link between child sexual abuse and later engagement in high-risk sexual behaviour. Survivors of child sexual abuse are more likely to have multiple sex partners, become pregnant as teenagers, and experience sexual assault as adults. Various models which attempt to account for this inter-relationship are presented; most invoke mediating variables such as low self-esteem, drug/alcohol use, PTSD and distorted sexual development. Prevention strategies for child sexual abuse are examined including media campaigns, school-based prevention programmes, and therapy with abusers. The results of a number of meta-analyses are examined. However, researchers have identified significant methodological limitations in the extant research literature that impede the making of recommendations for implementing existing therapeutic programmes unreservedly.

TL;DR: A theoretical and testable model is presented that specifies psychological processes related to the traumagenic dynamics of stigmatization in child and adolescent victims of sexual abuse and proposes that sexual abuse leads to shame through the mediation of cognitive attributions about the abuse and shame, in turn, leads to poor adjustment.

TL;DR: Knowledge of risk factors, recruitment practices, possible indicators of CSEC, and common medical and behavioral health problems experienced by victims will help pediatricians recognize potential victims and respond appropriately.
Abstract: Child sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) are major public health problems in the United States and throughout the world. Despite large numbers of American and foreign youth affected and a plethora of serious physical and mental health problems associated with CSEC, there is limited information available to pediatricians regarding the nature and scope of human trafficking and how pediatricians and other health care providers may help protect children. Knowledge of risk factors, recruitment practices, possible indicators of CSEC, and common medical and behavioral health problems experienced by victims will help pediatricians recognize potential victims and respond appropriately. As health care providers, educators, and leaders in child advocacy, pediatricians play an essential role in addressing the public health issues faced by child victims of CSEC. Their roles can include working to increase recognition of CSEC, providing direct care and anticipatory guidance related to CSEC, engaging in collaborative efforts with medical and nonmedical colleagues to provide for the complex needs of youth, and educating child-serving professionals and the public.

TL;DR: A comprehensive review about what is currently known about child sex trafficking by examining definitions, estimates of the problem, child risk factors and consequences, and approaches to protection, prosecution, promotion of recovery and reintegration, and partnerships for promoting collaboration and cooperation is provided in this article.
Abstract: In recent years, the problem of child sex trafficking has become a topic of international discussion and concern. Child sex trafficking can include many forms of commercial sexual exploitation such as prostitution, pornography, and child sex tourism. Children who fall prey to these forms of sexual exploitation are of particular concern because of their vulnerable status and the impact these experiences have on their development. This article provides a comprehensive review about what is currently known about child sex trafficking by examining definitions, estimates of the problem, child risk factors and consequences, and approaches to protection, prosecution, promotion of recovery and reintegration, and partnerships for promoting collaboration and cooperation.
