Effect of Experimental Blocking on the Suppression of Spatial Dependence Potentially Attributable to Physicochemical Properties of Soils

TL;DR: In this paper, the Moran index was used to show the role of blocking in modeling with the incorporation of an additional advantage rarely considered related to the suppression or mitigation of spatial dependence, which is an important factor in the treatment of the systematic spatial variability that can be found in the edaphic properties where agricultural experiments are conducted.

Chemometrics in Nondestructive Quality Evaluation

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors introduce an understanding of the latest ideas, methodologies, techniques, and fundamental processes used during nondestructive analysis of fruits and vegetables, where chemometrics and/or multivariate analytical approaches were performed.

Applied computational analyses for concrete compressive strength performance assessment

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the possibility to explore concrete mixture design to produce favorable and optimal compressive strength results for situations where some experimental tests may be difficult to run due to challenges in obtaining certain constituents which may be expensive or not readily available.

Suggested threshold to reduce data noise for a factorial experiment

TL;DR: In this research, a factorial experiment was studied, applied in a completely random block design, with a size of 2 5 observations, where the design of experiments is used to study the effect of transactions on experimental units and thus obtain data representing experiment observations.
