Large-signal analysis of substrate effects in RF-power SOI-LDMOS transistors

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of substrate resistivity on efficiency and output power has been investigated in class-AB operation and especially the loss mechanisms are studied in an attempt to couple those parameters more tightly to each other, and it is shown that the resistivity has great impact on the efficiency of the devices and the differences are related to losses in the substrate.

Optimization of LDMOS Transistor in Power Amplifiers for Communication Systems

A. Kashif
TL;DR: The emergence of new communication standards has put a key challenge for semiconductor industry to develop RF devices that can handle high power and high data rates simultaneously.

A practical guide to splines

Carl de Boor
TL;DR: This book presents those parts of the theory which are especially useful in calculations and stresses the representation of splines as linear combinations of B-splines as well as specific approximation methods, interpolation, smoothing and least-squares approximation, the solution of an ordinary differential equation by collocation, curve fitting, and surface fitting.
