TL;DR: The results of the application of the numerical and electronic inverse filtering to the same calorimetric output are presented in this paper, where two techniques, used to reduce the inertia of conduction calorimeters, give very similar results.

TL;DR: In this article, the possibilities of using direct calorimetric measurements for the determination of kinetic parameters of processes are discussed in terms of the choice of an appropriate method of reproduction of the course of changes in the heat power generated in time.
Abstract: The possibilities of using direct calorimetric measurements for the determination of kinetic parameters of processes are discussed in terms of the choice of an appropriate method of reproduction of the course of changes in the heat power generated in time, i.e. thermokinetics. Such methods are presented and it is concluded that many of these methods permit reproduction of the thermokinetics in the same way as if the experimental thermal curve were obtained in a calorimetric system characterized by a time constant 100–200 times as large as that for the thermal inertia of this calorimetric system.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe the modelling of nucrocalorimetric devices by means of heat-transport equations and the techniques for signal processing of the instrumental response, which enable to transform the devices commonly used as integrators into actual "thermal oscillographs".

TL;DR: In this paper, a critical survey of the apparatus used and of the reactions studied has determined the working under which the measures must be carried out, and a conduction microcalorimeter fitted with an inertia corrector can be used.

TL;DR: Harmonic analysis, electronic and numerical filtering have been used to reduce the inertia of conduction calorimeters as mentioned in this paper. But the limitations of the different techniques and the instrumentation required for their application have been evaluated by studying several well-known thermogeneses.

TL;DR: In this paper, a methode de correction is proposed for correction des courbes calorimetriques deformees par l'inertie thermique du calormetre and, donc, for determination des thermo- cinetiques.

TL;DR: In this paper, a method is presented which calculates the thermogram by optimizing the parameters of a theoretical model, which introduces the characteristics of the apparatus by a convolution technique, and it is unnecessary to assume an analytical form of this function as in previous methods of analysis by deconvolution.
