Abstract: This study aimed to test the effectiveness of group counseling program in confronting School aversion among fourth grade students. To achieve the aim of the study the researchers used an experimental approach, and they prepared three search tools to collect data. These tools were applied on a sample consisted of (40) individuals, twice: a pre- and a their attitudes toward school, their motivation to learn, and theirs study habits. To test hypotheses of the study means, standard deviations, Pearson correlation coefficient and an analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) were computed. The results showed that there were significant differences between members of the two groups in acquisition of habit and study skills, in favor of experimental group. It also showed positive correlation between experimental group academic achievement and their responses in scale of study habits, and by their attitudes towards school. While, there was no significant correlation between experimental group academic achievement and their motivation to learn. Finally, according to these results and discussion the researchers suggested a set of recommendations.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the constraints linked to the integration of the information and communication technologies in education of physics and chemistry in public middle and high school in Casablanca (Morocco).
Abstract: Objectives: This study allows us to examine the constraints linked to the integration of the information and communication technologies in education of physics and chemistry in public middle and high school in Casablanca (Morocco). Methods/ Statistical Analysis: To carry out this research, we used the investigation method using a questionnaire in the region of Casablanca - Settat (Morocco), exactly in the provincial direction of Moulay Rachid-Sidi Othman during 2016/2017 school year. The target population of our survey is about 97 secondary school teachers: 31 in middle school and 66 in high school. To complete our study, we asked few questions to the directors of the targeted institutions, and some to the inspectors of physics and chemistry. Findings: It is clear that the different actors of education can have different opinions. The integration of ICTs in the education system in physical and chemical is a pedagogical priority; access and flexibility are two prerequisites for the successful integration of ICT in schools. This paper is limited to the presentation and analysis of data expressing the use of middle and high school teachers in integration of ICTs in the teaching of physical and chemical sciences in the region of Casablanca - Settat, collected as part of our research, by determining the obstacles and suggesting some solutions for a successful integration of ICTs. Application/Improvements: The Ministry of education must consider several obstacles before taking the next step towards a better integration of ICTs, and several levers that make this integration successful.

TL;DR: A case study where a middle school Mathematics teacher created a lesson in Statistics where the students had the task to study a pack of colored candy and create a pie graph representing its distribution, and results show that her procedural vision of Statistics lead her to focus more on a graphical representation and thus led her to avoid all statistical reasoning development.
Abstract: Statistics is a domain combined with probability that is taught in Mathematics in all school levels. We suggest a potential in using an interdisciplinary approach with this concept, which, according to Fourez & Larochelle (2003), implies that the development of one discipline contributes to the development of others. Thus the development of the understanding of a situation might mean to use both mathematical and statistical reasoning. In this paper, we present a case study where a middle school Mathematics teacher created a lesson in Statistics where the students had the task to study a pack of colored candy and create a pie graph representing its distribution. The teacher hoped that her students made links between mathematical concepts while doing this task. Results show us that her procedural vision of Statistics lead her to focus more on a graphical representation and thus led her to avoid all statistical reasoning development (Garfield, 2002).
