AbstractRenewal of teaching methodologies is one of the main challenges currently faced by Law teaching. This renewal meets with special difficulties in legal areas, due to the pedagogical conservatism that has remained throughout history and due to the fact that the introduction of new activities is intended to be done without undermining the traditional aims in any way (that is, without affecting the transfer of the same theoretical knowledge that has always been demandable) through an accumulation (rather than restructuring) of strategies. In this sense, the curricula of new Degrees do not entail any guarantee of compatibility between both aspects. This work specifically supports the need to pursue the balance between innovation activities aimed at the acquisition and practice of specific professional abilities which require great dedication in terms of time and the inalienable compliance of global programmatic aims, which must be guaranteed through appropriate evaluation techniques. On the other hand, the imminent approval of the “Status of Teaching and Research Staff”, whose draft is herein analyzed, compels us to critically watch the computation criteria of the dedication of the teaching staff, in such a way that the multiplication of the activity arising out of new methodological uses is timely reflected.

Abstract: The purpose of the present document is to announce and share the experience of the work of the Juridical Clinic for the Protection of the Infancy and the Adolescence of the Law Faculty of the University of Barcelona; the aims and the methodology of work. In the frame of the Juridical Clinic, the students, of the last course of the Degree of Law, develop practices in a professional environment in order to acquire the competitions that they qualify for the exercise of the professions juridical; but not only that, the particular aim of our Clinic is to compromise the students with the defense of the people’s rights and the most vulnerable groups of our company. To such effect, we articulate a participative, collaborative work and in network between the own students, the teachers or academic tutors and the attorneys of the entities who take part in the Clinic. Between all, we unite efforts to advance in the study, the investigation and the defense of the rights of the children and the most vulnerable teenagers or in situation of social exclusion.

Abstract: En los ultimos anos las Universidades han experimentado importantes cambios en el modelo existente, con motivo del marco definido por Bolonia. Este articulo pone de manifiesto la necesidad de un cambio en el proceso de evaluacion, debido a la entrada de un nuevo elemento: las competencias (preestablecidas) que el estudiante debe adquirir a lo largo del proceso de formacion. La evaluacion de las mismas supondra un cambio en la concepcion clasica basada en una evaluacion final y centrada en un mero examen del resultado obtenido. Por el contrario, la evaluacion se convierte, a partir de ahora, en un proceso continuo que facilitara al docente informacion permanente sobre la progresion del alumno.

Abstract: La forma en la que fins ara es concebia l'educacio i l'avaluacio dels coneixements adquirits ha canviat i aixo, en el terreny dels estudis de dret, ha suposat una revolucio en la metodologia utilitzada. Tot amb la finalitat de que els nostres estudiants adquireixin les competencies necessaries per a convertir-se en juristes. L'objectiu es que els nostres estudiants adquireixin destreses perfeccionades en el maneig de les fonts del Dret i, especialment, de la jurisprudencia i, mes concretament, en el cas de l'assignatura de Drets Fonamentals i Justicia Constitucional, de la jurisprudencia constitucional. Sera a traves de les practiques sobre drets fonamentals el mecanisme a traves del qual els nostres estudiants adquireixin, de forma gradual, les competencies de la citada materia. Feina gens senzilla.
